i kind of hate my body. i am so over having to go to the hospital. i am sick of dealing with this bullshit. i do not want to deal with it the rest of my life, but i have to, and that pisses me off. a lot. a whole lot. i think about how it is going to affect my future, and how i can't do anything about it. it's unfair. i mean, after a while you start to think what did i ever do to deserve this? i am not a bad person. i don't do malicious things. but i guess that's just how life is though. whatever.

Is this from The Onion?  "Killing 50 or so humpback whales won't make a difference."????  I guess sinking a couple of fishing boats won't make a difference either; I mean human beings are at sustainable levels and we won't miss 100 or so.

Sorry but this seems like a very emotional knee-jerk reaction.  It says that they doing it for scientific research.  I think the scientists will properly weigh the reasons for kill the whales against the possible negative effects on the species.

Plus, a whale is not a human being so your analogy is a false one.  It's like that PETA video where they splice scenes of Nazi concentration camps with scenes of slain chicken.  It is an absurd argument.

I think it's widely accepted, even here in Japan that the 'scientific research' tag is an excuse. The Japanese people believe that whaling is a cultural right & it has nothing to do with 'scientific research' they simply want to eat whale meat.

Little one is sick again. She was kinda sick over the weekend and she's home from school today and I'm doing a 1/2 day to stay with her. ugh. I'll be glad when she's feeling better again so we can get some sleep.

Are you calling me a "knee jerk?"  The Japanese have a long and varied history of "scientific research" on a wide variety of exotic animals.  And I saw that Star Trek movie with the crying whales buddy.  Don't tell me that whales ain't humans!

I hope you feel better Meg  :)  I have been going through some things for like 4 years now...just not feeling right, headaches all the time, all kinds of weird things, so I know how you feel I think.  Some days are better than others and I find it helps to just keep in the right frame of mind and not worry too much

thanks, seamus. i won't go into it at length, but i keep getting these bigass benign tumors all the time. it's like, nothing works to prevent it. as a result, i will probably never be able to have kids of my own. i have had seven surgeries for it in the past seven years. i am just tired of it. blaaaaaah.

I was reading only yesterday that crows, along with magpies and parrots, are some of the most intelligent birds on the planet. There was a murder of them watching me from the telephone wires above as I cleaned up & I swear they were laughing at me.

2) I HATE THE NFL NETWORK!!!!!  It is a crime against the memory of Vince Lombardi to not be able to watch the Green Bay Packers on regular old free TV.  The cable companies here don't offer NFL network.  Luckily there are some sports bars with satellite TV so I guess it isn't that bad.

3)my complaints are always trivial.  sorry.

i don't know how it worked but in the past there was a steelers game that was scheduled for NFL Network but it was shown on a local channel anyway.
