I love it that I live in a world where these things matter. It's the small, gentle things that help form and keep communities together. Good for Oklahoma I say (although the pedant in me can't help thinking it's a fruit really  ;))

Seriously, guys, who would volunteer to be the state fruit of Oklahoma?  Sounds like a title you can only earn in prison.

Oklahoma's state game bird is a Wild Turkey.  Should have been the state drink.  Interestingly, the state drink of Kentucky is... no, wrong.  It's milk!  How did that happen?  :-/
