.DEEP LOW PRESSURE OVER EASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA WILL STRENGTHEN
TONIGHT AND LINGER THURSDAY...BRINGING COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF
PRECIPITATION TO WESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA AND FAR NORTHEASTERN
WYOMING.
MUCH OF THE PRECIPITATION WILL FALL AS SNOW. THE HEAVIEST SNOWS
WILL BE OVER THE NORTHERN AND CENTRAL BLACK HILLS WHERE 1 TO
2 FEET WILL FALL. ON THE PLAINS OF WESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA 6 TO
14 INCHES OF SNOW IS EXPECTED.
STRONG WINDS WILL BLOW ON THE PLAINS OF WESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA.
THE COMBINATION OF WIND AND SNOW WILL CREATE A BLIZZARD OVER MOST
OF THE WESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA PLAINS.

I like snow as much as the next guy but I'm not wishing fall away yet. :-/

man, I did some ice fishing up in Maine during the Budweiser years. Probably even more of a beer drinking activity than regular fishing in the fact that you don't even have to hold a pole. We had a blast!

Come on up. It's a blast. It's just a good excuse to get away from the wives for the weekend. We drink alot. Go out to the local supper club for prime rib dinner then go back to the hotel and collapse. Each fisherman is allowed 3 tip ups, we get between 8-12 guys every year.
The fishing is good. Lots of small mouth bass and some northern pike, no walleye in the lake. The coldest we ever fished was - 15 below windchill. We don't use any shantys. There is a bar right on the lake that has a very large picture window, we can sit at the bar and watch our tipups thru binoculars while we are sucking down bloody mary's and whatnot.
