i don't actually know an unattractive redhead.
i hear they get engaged pretty easy, though. ;)
(well, some of them.  then there are others who can't get a date to save their life, but that's another story for the current complaints sex-tion.)

that is one of the best albums of all time.  see, now there is a perfect example of why entire albums are important - they take you on a journey start to finish.  you can sit down and let your mind wander and be creative for 45 minutes or so while you imagine what's happening behind the music.

i heard that there will be no more (legitimate) redheads in the next 100 years.  we're dying out.  i say "we" mildly..  i am amazed to find that, having not dyed my hair in a while, it's still reddish.  :)  (well, with some grey straggles.  but i kind of like them.)

anyone ever read "still life with woodpecker" by tom robbins?  it's one of my favorite books of all-time.  in it one of the characters develops a theory that redheads are descended from aliens?  left here in the days of Egyptians and that they secretly run the world.

EC's post about redheads dying out sent me on a google search and I found a lot of articles stating they probably were descendants of Neanderthals.  Didn't see anything about aliens though.  Maybe it all ties in with Scientology somehow, anyone know if L. Ron Hubbard was a redhead?  ;)


Anyway ... I've always wished I was a red head and now I am!  But I love the way natural redheads look and I always had crushes on the little red headed boys in school.  I would hate to think that in 100 years there won't be anyone with red hair and freckles :(

Yes, no need for sugar-coatin', I suppose. Tara and Dawn would definitely be exempt from the attractive female Buffy characters group, though - far too whiny, as if their sole purpose was to ensure that people didn't like the show *too* much. Less of a blow when it finished up forever, I guess!
