Yeah, that's me.  I just started the account to see what this facebook stuff is all about.  I don't really get it so far, it's it just like myspace or something?

kind of. thing is, it's sort of pointless if you don't have many friends signed up on it. it's not in like myspace in that you can see anyone's page, but rather that you can see people from your school and be friends with people from other schools. i think the design was intended to be a way for there to be a good flow of communication between friends at school, know what's going on in eachother's lives a lot easier, that kind of thing. not like myspace where anonymity is a lot easier to achieve. it's cool, i guess. but on the other hand, sort of useless. but that's not unlike myspace, i guess. myspace is at least useful if you'rea musician. facebook is just kind of a place to jack around and make groups and waste time on the internet.

I started my little group back before you could make the damn things "global."

Is there any way to change the group network?

tom invited me to join the group and however he found me on there is beyond me.  cracked me up though.   i get a kick out of this whole MMJ online community.

Facebook is basically like a myspace but not as flashy and seems much more sophisticated if i may.

Looks like there's a show coming up at Riverfront Park on August 15, 2008!  Gosh, I hope they play Mahgeeta while the General Jackson strolls by behind the stage.  Ooohh...and maybe they'll play a vamped up, Carl version of War Begun while fireworks go off in the background!

I'd like to start a thread about "How Long Will It Take For BH To Get A M'ther Effing Facebook page???? Seriously.  It takes two seconds. Okay, maybe it takes an hour, but I don't have kids or a wife or a mortgage so it takes me less time.  Still.  There's no EXCUSE.  I'm just sayin'. I am so out! Too many corny-assed middle aged people with their never ending apps. and hug requests. Even older people who get just down right shitty when you reject their friend request for the 3rd time. Everyone from here was cool though and you know where to find me... :)

Sorry to hear that Matt. A friend of mine, who specializes in social media and biz, actually wrote an article about just that very problem about a month ago. I've had a couple people that were very persistant and thankfully they got the hint and just went away.
