Title: Programs for editing audio tracks?
Post by: EasyRyder on Feb 22, 2011, 06:49 PM
Hey folks, I need some suggestions for editing audio files. I ripped and converted all of the youtube videos that document the entirety of MMJ's Voodoo Festival set into mp3 files, but now I'm hoping to touch up the sound.

I'm not looking to get too far over my head with editing, so does anyone recommend any relatively simple audio polishing programs?? Any insight would be massively appreciated  :dankk2:

My goal is to just smooth out the sound in order to provide peeps on the forum with a semi-decent collection of sonic memories from that great night....

I'll send you a program right now.   check your PM box for the link.

not sure what you want to do but there is hiss reduction, leveling stuff, etc all in the program.

the problem is once you start messing with hiss you inevitably mess with the overall tone of the file.  there might be better, more straight forward programs but the one I'm sending is all I use for editing really.
