Anyone hoping like hell that the boys will release more dates for the fall?
I'm seeing them at pantages in LA, but I'm really hoping they come to San Diego again this year!

You're kidding right?
Hell yes I am, as is everyone else I know here. ;)
I'm hoping for some more summer dates too, and a NYE 2011 .
Hopefully they do some extensive U.S. touring, particularly the southern half. Not too much to ask, is it? Haha :D
in the article about the first leg of this years touring it said they had more dates to come
they'll wait for these shows to sell out, then they'll announce more shows. Just how it works.
Wonder if we'll get extra nights in the cities already announced? ???

2 nights at red rocks would be enough for me to go there. 1 night in chicago is already enough for me, so an extra night would be superb
I'm hoping they'll announce more dates in the summer. The current dates are really spread out and there's nothing better than a cool summer night with the best band on earth. We can only pray to the gods of rock...

not gonna make any plans for this coming NYE until the fall tour is announced. Just wondering what city I will be spending NYE in this year. :D (please)
yeah the current tour dates are kinda whack. theres no real room for night after night shows. also, NYE would be great. Now that the Yum Center exists, they have a great place to have an NYE show in their home town. :)

From the latest Rolling Stone (the "In The News" column):
My Morning Jacket take new LP on the road
My Morning Jacket will play tunes from their sixth LP, Circuital (due out in summer), on a handful of dates starting June 17th in Chicago. "The parts work really well together, so I'm excited to see them bounce off each other," says frontman Jim James. Expect epic sets at scenic venues like Colorado's Red Rocks. "We're dipping our toe back in the water," says James, who promises a longer run this fall.
I think we can all rest assured that there will be plenty of shows for us to take in this summer/fall.
Niiiiiiiiiice find, Wizzard!
Nice :)
Thanks for posting. It's reassuring to know instead of just assuming that there will be more shows. Still, travelling out West may be in the cards..... the fall seems far away.
Fingers crossed this means they show up at the bridge benefit in October. That would make my year!!!
I hope these are "An Evening With My Morning Jacket" shows like they did for the Evil Urges tour. no opener, just pure My Morning Jacket. It's the right way to do it.

dipping our "toe" back in the water....interesting metaphor. the water is getting warm, let's go fellas!
I hate to be a downer, but I'm getting pretty discouraged that no southern dates have been added :embarassed: :'(
georgia is a southern state my friend...and i will be there on august 20th
