They have not hit Dallas since 2008. Surely this is the year that they return. Any inside info?
I really hope so man. Fingers crossed for Dallas and Austin!
I have been speculating that they may headline one night of ACL this year. If this does happen you can pretty much count out a Dallas show. Since C3 has crazy non compete agreements.

Great. >:(
i have been wondering why dallas hasnt been visited since 2008 myself. they really havent been to texas in 3 years, either.
i think they have been through acl and other texas spots in the same year, so a non compete should not be an issue.
texas is just not going to happen this year. again.
What makes you think that? With MMJ being one of the Lolla headliners IMO it makes it a even bigger possibility of them playing ACL. C3 typically have a few of the same headliners at each and I doubt it will be Muse (since they have played ACL twice), Eminem (not the best fit for the ACL crowd), or Foo Fighters(just played Austin for SXSW).

This is silly. You don't think there's going to be a tour in the fall? I'm just hoping it doesn't coincide with the Red Rocks date like it did in 2008.
Would love for them to headline a night of ACL in Austin.
I've seen Monsters of Folk at Stubbs, and saw Carl play SXSW a couple of months back, so the guys come into town enough, now they just need to play as MMJ.
I've been lucky enough to catch them for NYE at the Garden a few years back as well as the Radio City Music Hall show, which is second only to Pink Floyd at Texas Stadium in the pantheon of concerts I've been to.
Heck if they play Dallas, I may try to make that show to.
i'll be very disappointed if they aren't able to make a dallas appearance before or after ACL. The Gypsy Tea Room shows were ridiculous (and inspired my fandom) and the 2008 palladium was pretty awesome. it makes no sense not to go sell out some venue or other (preferably not AAC) around then.
hey man, they havent been to buffalo since 2005. suck it up ;)
