I was terrified to ask my boss for the night off so I could watch this show that u financially backed. Why u can't run reruns of it is BEYOND ME! Maybe iff 100 of us MMJ fans promised to pay your S*** $55 anual fee to swipe your card & further RUIN our credit you would. Instead my brother promises to let me have his card now to wipe my ass with & he'll never use or renew it again. F*** YOU AE!

A band like MMJ can only benefit from some kind of corporate sponsorship, as long as it does not influence the music itself. Have you considered maybe there would have not even been a webcast without a sponsor like AE? If there was no sponsor, then this thread would likely not exist. Then, what could you complain about?

They seem to be releasing tracks as they are ready. If you think they took the time to set this show up, have it directed by Todd Haynes and fully filmed...and not put it on a DVD or On Demand then your ignorant. I have been getting an email almost every day with links to new videos...

my thoughts exactly...sidenote...what's the deal with the second half of circuital? i love all of the songs on the album...not sure what my favorites are as it has to sink in a little bit more but I love all of it right now...truly is a complete album in my opinion
They rebroadcast Arcade Fire's AMEX Unstaged from MSG multiple times, even archived it for a month or two. Just keep your eyes and ears peeled for news and you'll be able to see it, no worries.
Damn, just went to the vevo page and yeah, they only got like 10 songs there right now. I wasnt to watch/listen to the whole show to get my ears wet and ready for Storytellers tonight

And besides, how can Amex ruin your credit more? You have to pay your bill at the end of the month. Don't charge what you can't afford. Amex is fantastic for paying monthly bills and travelling.

^Awesome! Love the intro...no Okonokos llama, but great nonetheless. The HD stream is almost too good, like spoiler good (my MMJ complaint for the day). I think I'll wait to watch it after I see them at the Fox Theater in a couple weeks. Last summer, I watched Jonsi's solo show on NPR, via high-def stream, and it was so good that I decided not to go through the inconvenience of buying late tickets and making a long drive, something I kinda wish I had gone ahead and done in retrospect.

:D :D :D Just downloaded it, built a nice menu and am burning it to a dual layer dvd to preserve it's quality and not subject it to further compression. :thumbsup: Looks like I'm gonna be blasting this everyday for the next few weeks! Thank Jeebus they decided to run it for another couple o' days like they did! (I LOVE Keepvid! I built 2 TV MMJ dvd compilations using it months ago.) I wish they would have upped it in a slightly higher res tho. But, oh well. I get to see it finally! :D :D :D :D
Pardon my ignorance on this....So the show is 3 hours. A single dual layer dvd will hold it? I was also going to build a menu, along w/ all the trailers as one chapter going into the show. I was planning on splitting it up to 3 dvds, since from my experience, a regular dvd+ only holds about an hour a piece based on the software I'm using.

Actually, it downloads as an mp4, that when converted to avi. Expands from 3.3 gigs to 6.5 gigs. I used WIN ALL AVI to convert the file (after several attempts to compress the 3 hours onto a 2 hour disc. Which all had conversion flaws) into an AVI file then used a dual layer disc to burn the master to with CONVERTXTODVD. After that I use DVD Shrink 3.2 to run off copies onto standard disc without any audio sync issues or skipping video or image artificing.
They took it off youtube and now I can't grab it :-\

Okay, I converted it last night to an FLV file. I will figure out how to get it to AVI or WMV at some point. Hopefully it is not too difficult. I was trying to finish before midnight. I use Total Recorder Video Pro Edition to capture/convert generally and love it. I will probably just break it up into three discs at some point. I'm just glad to have it.
