So sad I missed the KCRW show sales as it looks like tomorrows general sale won't be happening since it says SOLD OUT :'(
Would love to take a ticket off your hands, even two, one for Mr. Chiefokono who is my kind neighbor in Venice that I met at T5. Would love to see this intimate show! This kills me as it is biking distance from my house and anything I can ride my bike to makes me smile but this.... well there are no words. If anyone has extras or for some reason can't go I would love to buy them off you! Stoked for all you who did get your tickets, this will be Wonderful. :D
I also missed the presale, but I just scored (1) ticket off of eBay for a reasonable price considering what an epic show this is going to be. I would hop on that avenue before it's too late. Good luck :)
When is this?! I need a link!
I started a thread about this the day before the show and no one took notice to get tickets haha:

Apparently they are out there on Stubhub and eBay, I'm not even going to try to estimate how much, they were $125 originally.
They were $125 for members, and $50 to become a member, so essentially they were $175. I just couldn't do it, sure I'll regret it later. Told myself if I could get one for $125 I'd do it, but of course it sold out before any became available to non-members. I'll just be happy with my 2nd row pantages tix.
Thank you for the Stub Hub, Ebay tips! I speak your name
I did see your post Walterfredo but was too late. I have been in the thick of it and this like Preservation Hall show at Jazz Fest slipped by.
Thank you for the Ebay tip! I got my ticket, very psyched for this!
In case anyone is still interested in attending this show but can't find tickets, KCRW mentioned this morning there is a contest you can enter online on their website for tickets, by submitting a written entry describing why MMJ is so meaningful to you/or describe an MMJ concert experience. Something to that effect... Just FYI... :)
bump for chief o!
I decided to sell my pair of KCRW tix and go to the Pantages instead.
Face value + fees = $268.50
I work 5 minutes from the venue.
sounds like this is gonna probably be unfortunately only about 50-60 min or so of music. just spoke to someone at KCRW who said the band is supposed to go on around 8. play a set and then stop for the recorded interview and then another small set of music. supposed to be over by 9:15. this will most likely air later down the road as a 11am-noon "live" performance on Morning Becomes Eclectic. great intimate spot to see them, but even as a fundraiser it's a pretty high price for a short amount of music. wish i could be there though.
