Thoughts? With no show announced yet I'm feeling more and more hopeful for new years eve... We are spoiled I know but i want to hear the new tunes live
Sorry, I've already been assured they're playing Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa that night.
I hereby declare a moratorium on New Yorkers (even admittedly spoiled ones) asking for more MMJ shows until they play in Oklahoma ONCE. ;)

i believe i read (i wanna say patrick's fan questions answered portion on steam engine's blog, but i could be wrong) that plans to return to nyc are in the works. late summer or autumn, i believe. because they don't want to wait too long to get a decent slice of pizza ;D

We're easy down here. :)
was just thinking that the announced venues on the summer tour have been seated with pit areas for roll call... i think that nixes out Williamsburg Waterfront...
Maybe United Palace Theater (sp?).....
I could see them playing the Apollo.

I figured that New York was getting skipped this time since we were spoiled with Terminal 5....
That's why we're driving to Boston!! :D

Glad you're going to Boston too, but NYC will not get skipped.
Where else can the guys get a great slice of pizza? ;)

....and believe me, we're only 48 miles from NYC... my girl and I will walk there if we have to...
Really psyched for Beantown though!! Going to spend a few days there and see some thangs!

I think they definitely hit the NYC area over the summer. Probably right after the Philly show.
I think they'll keep playing until ACL.
Venues Possibilities:
1. Williamsburg Waterfront (8,000 capacity)
2. Governors Island, The Beach
3. Keyspan Park
Wildcard: Central Park
Central Park definitely hit me the other day as possibility....I dunno, that would be epic....just don't see it happening (just a gut reaction)
Brooklyn Bandshell?
Keeping in the theme of nice looking venues, United Palace, Beacon, and Radio City strike me as the most likely suspects. I would bet it's one of those 3 when they decide. Radio City would be my bet
I don't know if it's the norm, but I saw the Arctic Monkeys at Summerstage last month and it was the shortest show I've ever been to. I had no problems with the venue... and I mean... you're in Central Park.
I was wondering if the park has restrictions on performances in regards to their time limit.
I think the park is open til like 2:00 am or something?? But maybe they have to end concerts earlier? I don't know... saw Arctic before and they played a full, lengthy show??
So I guess I'm saying if they play at Central Park, that would be fine with me... I just hope it's a full show! ???

Central Park shows end pretty early so good call.
WILLIAMSBURG WATERFRONT!
