It hadn't rained in the area for about a month (no exaggeration) and then right on cue - rain came down during TM pt 2. Rain slowed and picked up along with music including drenching at the end when music explodes. It was as if the rain was being controlled by someone standing next to the light man.

Awesome show. That rain certainly kicked in right when Touch Me Part 2 started. Fucking amazing how these guys control the weather. Just a great show, they were on fire that night. Phone Went West was great, they need to play that more on the new tour.
It was indeed a magical night at Festival Pier. The band was on, Jim's voice was incredible, the sound system was awesome and the atmospherics with a hurricane chugging up the coast were out of this world. I've seen 11 shows now and this still is tops.

I almost forgot the fireworks goin off behind the crowd across the river in Jersey in the midst of the show. Probably from Campbell's field but not sure. Other than the MSG NYE show, the Festival was the best I have seen from mmj.

This was my first Jacket Show! Unbelievable!
That's great, thanks! I was at that show and PWW was definitely one of the highlights, along with Dondante, War Begun (with fireworks), and others.
I am looking to get another Phone Went West at either MPP or the Mann. Fingers crossed.

I was at RCMH, MSG for NYE, MPP last year and many others but there was something about the Festival Pier show that just brought it to another level.
I'll be in the pitt at MPP in a couple of weeks, my home venue, hoping for PPW and a lot more! Of course, I'll also be traveling to Pittsburgh a couple days before to cover my bets!
