anyone going?
yes. twice. paul mccartney on thursday, MMJ 13 days later.
i wonder if jim and the guys will still be kicking ass at age 69.....and charging $175 per ticket.
will be there for sure.
COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOBRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
i
I'll be there! My fifth rendezvous with the boys, and I get to take my bestie for her first show.
Also I'd like to second: COBRA.
im pretty sure the wife and i will be there. havnt bought tix yet because i didnt know if i would be in town. it appears i have successfully arranged my travel schedule to be in the ville that week so...
INDY on sunday, CINCI a week and a half later!
Is it Wednesday yet??
I'm in. Has anyone been to PNC Pavilion before?
Does anybody know what ticket prices are like at the venue itself? There's a $13 service charge on Ticketmaster. I just found out I'm off that day and would love to drive down for the show, but not for $50.
50$ is not a lot to see a band that headlines festivals...

You can get them at the box office without the service fee.
More info w/ Box Office hours and stuff here: http://www.riverbend.org/tickets.php (http://www.riverbend.org/tickets.php)
They're definitely worth paying $50 to see, but no harm in saving some money if that works for you. Hope you can make it!
I won't argue that they're worth $50 to see (it would be my third show this year), its just that I'm a broke college kid and when I factor in the drive from Columbus plus the inevitable purchases once I'm down there it turns into closer to a $100 night. Just trying to save some money any way I can.
as of now, i am definitely going. no plans to leave town this week for work, one plan to leave town this week for jacket!!!!! the wife and i and probably 8 others are heading up from the ville in the afternoon. cannot wait!!!!

i saw panic there last summer. its a pretty cool venue it is "indoors" but open air... you will just have to see what i mean. i thought the sound was good and overall had a pretty good feel to it. it did get very hot in there, but i dont think the weather will be too bad on wed.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Making the trip from Madison, Wisconsin for this one. 6th show, 4th this tour :) I just couldn't let it end.
Oh, and i have just joined the board. I've been reading a bit so i'm not sure why it took me so long to sign up but hello, everyone!
welcome, see you in cinci.
I'll be there plus one. Coming down from Buffalo with my girlfriend. She moves into her dorm at Miami Ohio (an hour away) Thursday morning, so I told her I'd take her to a Jacket show before she leaves and we do the whole "break up for college" thing. Movin Away would sure as hell be nice considering the circumstances.
Oh and this is my fourth, and likely final, show this tour. Been an awesome year so far.

I just looked up some pictures on the web and it looks like there is seating throughout with no open pit area?? Is that how it was when you saw Panic?
check the seating chart on ticketmaster. there is a small general admission pit in front, but it is sold out.

my buddy and i are in row 3, dead center. i'll be the old, pleasantly buzzed guy wearing a McCartney souvenir t-shit. holla.
is there a roll call for this???
rmpotsy +6ish...
today marks the beginning of my 3rd 2-shows-in-3-days run of 2011.
rmpotsy +6ish
e-wind +4 that i know of
on fb on the right hand column it said "on this day in 2010. status: its just the way that he sings.." and then I realized that a year ago today I went to the chicago show that was my favorite show ever (until red rocks)
i got a buddy looking for an extra PIT ticket if anyone has one
you fuckers are going to get my phone went west tonight!!! have fun Ohio.
Wow! Cobra followed by Stop draggin my heart around! Mmj and TP are my favorite. Mmj to never disappoint. Awesome show.

Tommy's wife was at the show. Check her tweets and pics here (http://twitter.com/#!/mspark).
Nasty set. There were a lot of little jams interspersed throughout, such as new intros to Steam Engine and Touch Me Pt 2. Speaking of Steam Engine, it was one of the best versions I've ever seen of it.
DMM and Neko were wonderful., and the crowd loved them too. I do love these mid-tour shows!
How lucky are Cincinnati!!! Best set of the tour!!!

the little jam they threw into the middle of anytime??? just when you thought it couldnt rock any harder...
Who has a tapping of this show? Nothing beats a great live Cobra recording...
how quick did posters sell out?
They were still selling them after the show. I dont think they sold out unless everyone I saw at the merch booth bought one.
Man, I've seen The Dark, PWW, Steam Engine, Evelyn, Honest Man, Knot Comes Loose and COBRA. COBRA was awesome. Jim's dancing was superb.
Oh and the shirt that Pooch has on said, "Bring on the lobsters!!!" with a lobster on his head. I'm sure in reference to Patrick's seafood incident.
can't believe no one has mentioned the glow stick that got stuck in jim's hair. so smooth the way he calmly removed it and sang the next verse with it clenched in his teeth....never missing a beat.
and the ones he stuck in his beard later on. props to him for handling that nonsense with such class and humor.
great show! neko's back-up singer and guitarist came out on 'stop draggin' as well. love how they are switching so many things up, it gave me the motivation to travel so much to catch them 3 times on this run.
i agree with slappymoe that the band handled the glowsticks well. i've never seen so many thrown at the stage, seemingly with the intention of hitting the band. just to expand a bit, during the 'pause' in magheeta jim bent down and picked up about 5 glowsticks and stuck them in the bottom of his beard. they came flying out as they finished the song.
so in the shows i've seen this tour, i'm 3 for 3 on 'anytime' and 'magheeta' (in my top 5 jacket songs), i got my first 'strangulation' (favorite jacket song), and got a 'cobra.' i realized that i've seen it live 3 total times now!
MmmmMMmmm and Cobra!
