It shouldn't. Its USA Today. Also, not having read any articles, I wonder if the headline was based on anyone being at either show. I'm sure, to Eminem fans and the general public, he stole the night. Thing is, they don't know what they missed in the northeast corner of Grant Park. That's what's sad.

I don't understand this discussion at all. Why does it matter? Eminem is a talented, extremely successful artist that doesn't need to be compared to MMJ. He does something completely different and he sells out arenas whenever the heck he feels like it. That's the people's winner. Done and done. Unlike MMJ's rather homogeneous fanbase (college educated and white), Eminem has had mass appeal across race, gender and socioeconomic class for much of his career.
here's one white guy (partial college edumacation) who simply has no use for anyone who cannot compose an original melody, play an instrument or carry a tune.
sampling the songs of others and rhyming over a beat has little or nothing to do with making music, IMHO, and it makes me sad that there are so many young people these days who will throw good money at any bad poet with an attitude.
