Good gravy, that is a killer set.

I've said it before and I've said it again, these guys continue to outdo themselves set-wise.

The run of YWFO/Knot/Slow/Evelyn/Honest Man/Dondante is one of the sweetest I've seen all tour.

Agreed.  Glad they brought back Evelyn and it looks like Honest Man is back into rotation.  Also seems like a section you might lose some casual fans.

This setlist is ridiculous and amazing and I can't stop staring at it.

The setlists just keep getting better -- amazing!!  I know they'll bring it tomorrow night.  Right now there is a gigantic "it" being loaded on a truck bound for MPP.

My work ethic for today is now completely gone.  So someone do me a solid and let's see the poster!

Wow! great video grooveamatic!

One of the best sets I've ever attended... Evelyn, Knot, and Honest Man were awesome. Honest Man just effing jammed. Something was special about the boys last night though, I don't know if the extra day in Pittsburgh inspired them to play something great, but it was awesome.

I think this might be the reason. Pittsburgh is an amazing city!! Maybe Jim went to the Silver Cloud room at the Warhol museum and laid down for a bit. Something everyone should do...

Nice set list. Think this is a first play for Knot Comes Loose on this tour. It's a song that deserves more regular attention, and the YouTube vid proves it.

not sure if anybody else noticed this or not, but one of the "gems" in the set for the last 4 shows have gone in order by album:

red rocks- the bear: TTF
indy- xmas curtain: AD
columbus- just one thing: ISM
pittsburgh- Knot Comes Loose: Z

not sure if this is a pattern or completely coincidental, or that i just have way too much time on my hands lol. but if the "pattern" continues, then MPP should get something off of EU

Ok, next time they come through town, I'd like to show them the other Incline.

I know the Red Rocks breeze would be unbeatable, but the Pittsburgh breeze sure brought some power to the table!!

Thankfully, Nate seems to have had a talk with the band about their soundcheck before it started.  He literally walked over to the line several seconds before the soundcheck started.  So it's clear he had a hand in things.   :P  Their soundcheck was so entertaining... and being the loudmouth I tend to be every now and then, I yelled and woo-hoo'd at Jim & Neko when they were practicing Islands in the Stream..... and I think some other guy was on par with me for the yelling... and Neko says something along the lines of "Thank you 2 people!"

They were just hilarious though... Neko was practicing her moves for when they would sing "making loooove with eachother, uh-huhhhh" and was asking if she should creep up on Jim and pretend to grind up on him hahahahah it was such a sight to see them working out the details for that song  ;D

I've got pictures of our little crew peeking through the fence to watch the soundcheck, I'll post them up tonight if I can!!  It was so fun hanging out with you few folks who made it over!

So how about they (though possibly not conscious of this fact) played 3 songs that mention a river, representative of the 3 rivers!!!  Smokin' From Shootin', I'm Amazed, and One Big Holiday  8)  Though we were pullin' for an Into the Woods.... it would have been at least partially symbolic of their Incline experience  :P  But 3 river songs is certainly appropriate enough!  And don't get me started on the excessive amount of headbanging that Jim shared that night.... There wasn't a large space between the crowd and the stage, and he came over more times than I could count and would look me right in the eye, smile, then our hair would fly!!  Such a magick hometown show..........

And True it was great to finally meet you!  Hope to see you at another show again soon, though there's slim pickins right now like you said....

Nate it was awesome to meet you too, so fun hanging out in line!!  AND MS. YVONNE!!  Such a treat to see you there, I didn't get much chance to ask you how you were feeling for MPP, but I'm assuming much better!!  And I mean it when I said to get in touch with me if you come back through Pittsburgh again Monday!!  I could pick ya up and take ya on a small tour of the city so ya wouldn't have to worry about driving and directions!  :-D

And it was so fun to see you, Dan, and j rud at the Pitt and MPP shows!!  Hope to see all of you at another Pitt show sometime!!

Pics coming soon!!
