that hurts. i think sticky said his friend was dying to see phone
nutty...seems like the twists and turns in the setlists just keep getting better. just awesome
gotta assume that's the show poster behind the setlist?
im curious to see that poster behind it
jeebus that setlist is DIRTY
"War Begun" the amount of jealousy I feel right now is giving me a stomach ache! lol
CHIMMJFAN
Great set list! War Begun, and even Lowdown - seems like they don't play that one too often anymore. I have yet to get Lowdown out of the 4 shows I've been to. I hope someone got a video of Stop Dragging My heart Around.
what a great show, and i got a copy of the setlist!
i was directly in front of jim on the rail--couldn't have asked for a more perfect spot.
off the record rocked in a way i haven't heard it before. the lay low-dondante-gideon run was incredible and absolutely seamless. on the topic of dondante, holy fuck. easy 20 minute version and one of the best i've ever heard. wonderful blew my mind. could not believe it when i heard war begun. kinda disappointed that pww got cut, but the 20+ minute version of dondante made it all worth it.
thanks for such a great show.

Was that cover Tom Petty's Stop Dragging My Heart Around? Saw the Jacket open for Tom and The Heartbreakers at the Izod ceter in New Jersey last year and wondering if that's why they might have covered this song?
Any help as to who the artist for the poster was would be greatly appreciated?
Thanks
Lowdown?!?!
Well forget you people!! ;)
The poster looks to have a very "adventure time with finn and jake" feel. Very cool, and some nice additions to the set!
Stop Dragging My Heart Around was epic. Yes, the Petty cover. Lowdown included a REAL long intro and was more of a "rocker" than I'd seen/heard it before. Dondante was of the 20-some minute variety.
I think Phone got crossed off because Neko had an equipment issue that made that set run late (and short).
It seemed to me Jim had issues with sound from his guitar at times and at other times issues with the sound from his mic. The band seemed to sense it and the performance aspect was kicked up a notch. I've seen them sound "better", but never more "into it".
I'm still juiced. :D
Please god tell me someone got video of "stop draggin my heart around"!? There is some badass guitar work in that old tune

Can we just have a recording of the whole show? I hope someone snagged it.
War Begun?!?!?! Damn i did not want to see that on there. I was really hoping for it in Tuscaloosa. I kind of expected to see it at MPP and when it wasn't there, I thought Tuscaloosa had a real chance of it. Oh well, I guess we still do, but now I'm leaning more toward Rolling Back.

Triple dog dare ya.
That is quite a set list. Strange not seeing Golden on there. How often has that been left off?

Good eye. It looks like it has been played every show this tour except for Detroit and Indy.

prior to this tour it had been played at every full length show for a very long time - 03 or 01 I think....

Wow, that is quite a run for Golden but I'm not surprised. So nice to see Lowdown in there, they need to play that tune more. The wife will not be happy if Golden is not played in Philly but chances are that it will.
I know I'm probably in the minority here, but the extended Dondante gets a little long and redundant for me. I would much rather have a shorter Dondante and allow time for Phone Went West.
On one hand, I am so jealous that the Detroitans got War Begun. Like many others who have shows upcoming, I was hoping we would get it (Charlotte peeps, that is).
On the other hand, I'm happy for the Detroitans who got to witness that majesty for the first time.
Sigh. Life of a Jacket fan.
