Does anyone have current sales figures for the 3 albums? i'm curious.....
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!Nobody's responded to this post yet???????????????????????????????? ;D
Tennessee Fire- 98,000 copies
At Dawn- 213,000 copies
IT Still Moves- 428,000 copies
Sound right? ???
yo, where'd ya get those....cause if they go Gold with ISM, I will throw the biggest drunk-fest party!
Yeah...I am curious to know where you got those numbers too.
D.
here are the actual figures... from soundscan, as of June 24, 2004:
It Still Moves: 101,016
At Dawn: 23,157
Tennessee Fire: 12,838
that makes a little more sense
i just can't believe those figures are accurate. just a peek at darla's top seller list (right on the homepage, www.darla.com) shows both TF and AD STILL in the top 5 slots, after almost 5 years? are we to believe that darla doesn't sell that many records?
That certainly looks a little more reasonable.....
D.
woops. guess i was off a bit. ;D

On the basis of the above, the next album will sell 800,000+.
Seems fair.
TF is slightly higher according to jamie Sampson.
Tennessee Fire - 13,838
Close, though.
By the way...
A gold record is 100,000 copies.
Although, gold isn't shit anymore. Unless you go double or triple platinum nobody in the record business really gives a crap.
Obviously, multiplatinum status is not equal to good art... ie nsync, brittany, garth brooks, bon jovie etc.

nope, gold is 500K. platinum is 1 million...at least according to the recording industry association...
Who cares,
I'm one of the 12838 people in the WHOLE world who has the original version of the TF.
Cool ;D

And what about being one the 1000 people having TF on original vinyl
with 7" bonus single?
Sorry 8)
Okay,
You win.
:)
Err, what is the original version, then? I have it on 2-LP, bought somewhere in May 2000, but I haven't a clue how to know if it's original or not.
Now this is what I'd call obsessed. Original?! Aren't they all original pressings? Since when is there a Darla reissue? Am I just lost in the sauce?
(most likely, but hey)
HEY! just wondering if the numbers have bumped over the past month after the shows they've done...
any soundscan members willing to fill us in? :)
