XOX to all my anniversary buddies, what an amazing week.
Guess this would be my first anniversary of seeing Johnny Quaid, too. I mean OURS. ;)
still getting over that cover of Hot Leg...hope it makes the box-set!
Crazy that it has been a year. I kind of wish they were doing it again.
get chills reading that set list. what a fucking week.
Wow, one year ago. Getting some post T5 blues all over again. All good, though. 56 days till we get to relive it (to a smaller extent). But I'll take what I can get. Now is when the anticipation build up begins!
Ahhhhhhh Happy Anniversaryyyyyyyy folksssss!!!

yeah, pretty much.
Completely agree with Ruckus...night one was my fav. Such an amazing week and great time to be in NYC. Seasons were changing, the colors in central park were unreal. Oh yeah, and the giants in the heat of the pennant race. Definitely one of the most fun weeks of my life.
Lil Billy!
Ahh, memories...the ones I can remember, that is. Actually, I can recall so much of this incredible week, it was so much fun with so many great people. Sleep? Who needs it, eh?

...Damn, I cant believe its been a year. What a week outside of the shows, and every subsequent Jacket show I see will be compared to these 5 shows and in all liklihood not stand up to them (or at least the first 4). Its a tough call, but I think night 2 was my favorite.
I forgot my Gold Bond in the bathroom of our apartment. Im wondering if its still there 1 year later

Yeah, me too—just not 18 straight hours of it. ::)
Ahh, the bathroom. I enjoyed reading about the world's ugliest soccer player
en francais while flicking ashes onto the patrons in the courtyard of the bar downstairs.
Hey Guys! We were all so excited that first night!!! I've had a heavy heart lately thinking about that week. Penny just sent me a pic of the 2 of us coming in on the bus from Hoboken. Man I miss all of you. Wish we could do it all over again. Love you all.
Happy Anniversary :)

mac n cheese w Soulshine at the pre-party. One year ago... damn.
ps Night 2 was my favorite (but can't disagree with you guys who say TFF, as I missed that one)
A year? Already? Really?
That week will not only go down as the best musical run I have ever seen (and I saw the Dead allot), it was also the week that cemented my love for this band and marked the beggining of a wonderful obsession.
I had seen MMJ once before - - but, T5, what an indoctrination! Every song, ever recorded? Bang! How lucky can you get?
2011: Roo, MWP, Mann - Orlando and MSG to come.

Hey Soulshine. Good to see ya around :-*
Night 2 was a close 2nd 33. To hear my favorite album played followed by one of the sickest rockin' encores ever?! Yeah, that was special too.
Kinda sad to think I'll never be able to to live that again

You ain't kidding! That is the ultimate indoctrination! Keep chasin' that 1st high ;) I sometimes (all the time) fear that those 5 days were the pinnacle for me with this band. I hope they prove me wrong
Hi Guys!!!!!
I got DAS BOOT off and I am officially contraption free! I can have my plate taken out in the next 6mos! (I'm keeping that boot to get us in 1st at all upcoming shows tho!)
I've been sad about T5 too, but I have a feeling we'll all have many more special times together and with this band!!!!
I do miss all of you! I'm going to try to make a trip east. Probably wont be till next year, but I'm going to try.
mmmmm mac and cheese with Kyle, vodka shots with Rob, hugs with Dave & Jeff....this community fills my heart with gratitude!!!!

Oh MAN I'd almost forgotten about that "Junk" cover!!!! What a sweet ending to that night....... what an amazing freakin' night...... That was one of my favorite nights, due to its intimacy and my wine splurge hahah it was SO AWESOME to hang out with everyone more-so than we could at T5.
Many many thanks Penny for coordinating such a huge reservation!!! You really made that happen, girl!! It was nice to catch up with ya in line a bit, and I'm glad you got that poster!!!! :-D
And ImTheDude, can't thank you and Linds enough for saving me a seat at your table!! Couldn't believe how close we were.... pretty gnarly!!! Oh that wine was strong and I hadn't a thing to eat that day hahahah was feeling pretty good like 5 sips in hahahahah :P
Miss you guys and miss
everyone!!! Aw what a great time :D :D :D :D
Still hard to believe that whole thing happened. Still have my drumstick from Patrick.
Ahhh my night off amidst the T5 shows.... wait no I must see Carl at Joes, meet all you peeps  (thank you Penny), enjoy the redneck tailgating brilliance outside, find an extra ticket, meet Johnny in the unisex bathroom, tell LP she should write a novel, and sit back and watch the band (Minus Jim who was at the Beacon) engulfed in full fandom.
Ahhh the memories. Good times, a week of musical gifts left and right, and continued friendships coast to coast.
Totally forgot about the redneck tailgating outside? So weird, I've never seen anything like that in NYC before (or after) that night..probably my favorite night other than one of the first 2 nights. I was at Joe's Pub last week and a bit sad thinking back at that. Never again will something be that cool.....for 6 nights in a row....!
Bluesky, Brooke and I met at McGee's Pub (for posterity) and headed to T5 tonight--very weird and felt very nostalgic...the bartender at McGee's is still there and really friendly..

This show as a little less special (as in A+ instead of A+++) only because the boys were a touch off their game IMO, and the songs from Z are a lot less rare. Still, hearing into the woods was a blast, with the viking chorus.
But the chorus- wow! great covers, and the only MMJ in history w/ Chills and Where to Begin in the same show, 2 of my favs.

when they started "careless whisper" wizzard and i found each other across the crowd and gave each other a big smile. (we first me when i saw her "ba-ba-bananas-nanas" t-shirt in p-town)
hey tube top: where are you these days?!
Brought out my most gnarly OWL CAPE for this one!!!! What a fun night :D Shared several "cape moments" up front with Jim that I shant forget!!!
I'll never forget Liz (ynwa)'s face when they started Chills!! :-D Then into Lullabies > Where To BEGIN > How Do You Know!!!!! (How Do You Know Where To Begin?)
And these guys have the ability to take songs that I overlooked or dismissed due to my age and give me a whole new appreciation for them!! Now I literally crack up though every time I hear Careless Whisper at work or in stores, just visualizing what a madhouse T5 was for it, those crazy banana-nanaaaas :D And even All Night Long makes me giggle now :) And, though un T5-related, hearing Jim do Take My Breath Away at what I think was one of the Lville for Lovers shows, makes me laugh now too when I hear it.....
Wheeeewwwwww :D :D :D
The final night and the appearance of Mr. Yac. So much more than Sweet Nuthin.
The end of One Big Holiday. Who wasn't totally wiped out and mentally exhilarated by the time this one was done.

Thank you, Jeff, for making it happen. Sorry I couldn't make the first 5 nights, and maybe some of you were a bit tired by then, but it was a great time.
Highlight - getting the rail for Touch Me 2, a very gracious move.
