Title: Anytime Movies
Post by: johnnYYac on Sep 29, 2012, 01:08 AM
Have you ever found yourself channel surfing, looking for something to watch, and you stumble upon a film you've seen before, and its somewhere in the middle or even near the end.  Yet, you can't stop watching it?  You stick with it 'til the end?

Shawshank Redemption

Anyone remember that old BMX movie "Rad"?  I haven't seen it in ages, but I used to watch that all the damn time.
.
Another oldie... "Side Out" the volleyball movie.

Might as well throw in Bloodsport while I'm going old school

I agree with LeanneP on the Jane Austen movies.
Miss Congeniality
The Proposal
Beaches
French Kiss
Breaking 2: Electric Bugaloo
(actually any break dancing or dance contest movie-it's a very specific formula)

This list is beginning to turn into my guilty pleasures list.

If by craptastic you mean awesome, then I agree.

One of my favorite lines ever is "a polar bear fell on me".

Agree with so many of them so far, esp Dumb and Dumber, every time.

Others:
Back to the Future
Teen Wolf
Forrest Gump
Legends of the Fall (not on TV all that often, but still)

I really like to watch the digitally-safe version of Showgirls when it comes on televison. Although I haven't seen it in quite a few years. The bowdlerization of that film makes it even funnier. Strippers with no nipples are just so weirdly funny.
