Title: today for lunch
Post by: e_wind on Oct 14, 2012, 03:36 PM
I ate a sandwich called The Jim James from a new-ish bagel deli in louisville. I got it because it genuinely looked like the tastiest thing on the menu. It was pretty tasty. I wonder how a local hero would feel about something like this, because it feel like its a place that he has probably eaten at before. weird

I'm guessing there was a long golden hair that curled on it.

there are a lot of sandwiches in there that are named after celebs and the sandwich makes sense with the name. the JJ doesn't really seem to have any relationship. Everything bagel with brisket and onions and some other shit i dont remember exactly

Hey, we're getting close to Halloween so this is all very appropriate.  I'm on board with the Taterbug project - let's go down in the basement and get creepy with some test tubes.

There really ought to be a Patrick Hallahan sandwich. He's the foodie in the group. http://www.foodisthenewrock.com/post/32263999890/podcast-15-is-out-w-patrick-hallahan-from-my-morning (http://www.foodisthenewrock.com/post/32263999890/podcast-15-is-out-w-patrick-hallahan-from-my-morning)

And of course Jim should have a creamy dessert named for him. http://www.cremebrulog.com/ (http://www.cremebrulog.com/)

Totally agree on the PH comment.  It would have to be something with pork, naturally.

Jim James
brisket, onion, cheddar & chipotle mayo on a bialy...7.25

1. This sounds delicious.
2. I though Jim was a vegi?
3. I should really get back to work.
