So what do you guys think? One poster for the three-night run or a different poster each night? I'm dying to find out what these will look like. One month away.
I'm guessing it will be three separate but related/similar posters like they did at The Wiltern in LA or at RR last year.
Leaving some space on the walls for what should be a really nice set. But if it's only 1 nice one, that's ok too because I'll need some room for the gorgeous Boston NYE that I intend to pick up 2 nights later.
status serigraph mentioned on his facebook page that he was working on a 3 part series. fingers crossed.

Awesome to hear. Hope I'll be able to grab all 3 (if it happens).
I'm conflicted. I want one poster for all 3 nights because it'd probably be cheaper and maybe easier to get. But I also want one for
each of the 3 nights because I know this run will be epic and I have missed out on other 3-night runs (not counting T5).
Thanks for the update.

I'd love a set of the Port Chester posters, if someone can score 'em for me and bring 'em to Boston.
Looks like it could be status, or whoever did the Chicago 2008 December posters
Hey guys, just put up some info on the posters on my Facebook page...REALLY STOKED to have been asked to do these...the gold on all 3 is a metallic gold ink! Hope everyone digs them and enjoys the shows!

Also, just to give a bit of insight on the design.... The band asked for a 3-part series that would work well together as well as stand alone. I have long been a lover of old circus posters...the old Ringling Bros., etc. I thought that could be a great approach for these posters...I also made this connection from Circus' to MMJ as being one of the "greatest shows on earth". So I submitted it to the band and they were totally into it....and from there this is what came of it. Hope you guys enjoy...I think they look really nice in person! Thanks!

Yeah, they're great. A good poster that you know you'll want hung up in your home makes any show that much better. That feeling times three is amazing.
I'm nervous that the NYE poster is gonna be amazing, cause I won't have any more room for hangin after these 3!
wow. theyre awesome...
Holy crap those are glorious. I NEEEEEED To get all 3. Any tips/plans on grabbing them? I don't want to miss these.
Hey guys also a heads up...I have had numerous request to sell these in advance/reserve copies. I have a policy to never sell posters before the show has happened and also not to take reservations. I do it that way for 2 reasons:
1. I want the band who hires me (to which I am very gracious) to have the first shot at selling them out at the shows.
2. I try to be as fair as possible to all of my collectors...I will give ample heads up on the on sale and I plan to only offer these as sets in the beginning to see how much demand there is. This will give folks looking to get a matching set a pretty good chance.
Thanks everyone...hope you understand...just trying to be as fair as possible and respect the band as well. - Justin

Hey Status/Justin - first off....phenomenal job. I'm always amazed at how great concert posters turn out and these are no exception. Just glorious and the minute I saw the design I felt "I need these on my wall. All 3".
So I know things are still up in the air but I was wondering if you knew whether or not you may have the matching sets for the shows themselves? Like, on Thursday would I be able to pick up all 3 in a set? I'm assuming no based on the "not wanting to sell them before the shows happen" thing and I also assume the band handles the posters at the show. I just figured I'd check to see.
I'd absolutely love 3 posters (with matching numbers) but don't want to risk missing out on them. Like, I wouldn't want to skip buying one on Thursday with the hopes of getting the full set on Saturday (or after) and being left out in the rain or missing it or something.
I appreciate the work you've done and the lengths you seem to be going to make sure we can get our hands on these. I just want to make sure I can definitely get a full set (i'm still disappointed in missing some of the posters for the Terminal 5 shows).
I will have my sets available after the new year...probably the 2nd or 3rd. Not sure what the band plans on doing...thanks!
any details on the edition size for each night?
GREAT JOB JUSTIN

Just curious, why the 5 extra prints for night two?
Night 1 sold out by 7:30. I am hoping to buy the trilogy after the shows end. Feels weird... first time I've not bought an mmj poster at a show.
Sizes are 18x24, 160 size on edition was due to the fact that Antibalas has a large band and some copies go to the bands, thanks!

Hey everybody! It was great to meet a handful of you yesterday! I only have floor tickets for the first two nights and a balcony seat for night three. So I was thinking about spending the day in the city tomorrow and was wondering if anyone could grab me a poster. I could shell out cash tonight and then pick it up after the show tomorrow. If anyone would be so kind I would really appreciate it, but it's fine if no one's interested. We would exchange phone numbers of course to simplify things. Thanks!
Train would get in around 6:57.
Trying to see if that would get me enough time to snag a poster.

That was a pain! Be careful when getting shirts... I asked for an XL and noticed it was a Large when I got back to the hotel... thinking of taking it back and seeing if they will exchange it.
Wish I could go to the shows, the posters look awesome!
i got #39 tonight...anyone happen to get #28 tonight? just trying to match 'em up even tho its a long shot
I got #1 tonight
I got the last one yesterday @ 7, but missed out tonight. Met some people tonight in the Mexican restaurant next door that said that some dude in front of them on Thursday bought 7 of posters @ a time, so it makes sense why they are selling out in an hour. So I'll be early tomorrow and scouring eBay.
Anyone know the name of that show poster site where you can buy/sell/trade? I don't mean eBay or espresso beans :)

Nah, he was probably telling the truth. We've done this in the past, but the posters were for friends we waited in the ga line with. One person would hit the merch table for the posters while others went in to the pit. It actually helps make the poster line move quicker than having seven people buy one at a time.
Last night they would only allow one per person though, so I'd imagine tonight there will be a one per person limit too.
posters were much betterast night. they said one per person....but you could get more if you had people there just not on line. the guy was saying "1 per body" so theyd still let u grab for friends if you pointed it out ahead of time. he was saying they cant just have guys buying five at a time. much easier to get one last night.

You could just wait for Justin at Status Serigraph to sell his copies although he is selling them as a set on the 2nd of January for $105. You could just try and sell the first two nights posters online as it seems many are looking to obtain these posters. Anyway just figured i would let you know incase you didn't know this already.

haha that was you? i was 2nd to last with you. When I was up next the merch dude just pulled down the display one and i got so disappointed. then he said "wait......" and all if a sudden 2 more were available somehow. the girl who grabbed the final one just after me tipped the guy about $5 so thats cool if it was you. i went from so sad to so happy when he had a few more left
Three poster set up now, just snagged one.

Just ordered two tris from Status. Glad to know getting some extra rest and showing up at 8 all three nights ended up paying off.

If you define "paying off" as getting a poster, then yes that was smart to show up at 8. But hanging in line w/ 50 crazy, fun, generous people is part of what makes my memory of PC so special so I'd still argue to come early and meet us next time.
^ This I cannot argue with. I definitely wish I had met some of you. My trip was rushed to NY and back to Chicago, so any extra time was spent seeking Z's. Next time, hopefully soon...
just got 3set from steri for a cool $105 - very psyched and worth the risk - stayed warm with many MMJ-ers at Bar taco and elsewhere
these are getting framed!!

I agree with you 100% Kyle. Always great to get the posters and a good spot on the rail but I think many of us enjoy the pre-show hang with our fellow merry band of die-hard fans almost as much as we enjoy the shows. The total is definitely greater than the sum of the parts.

Sold out already. Hot damn, these posters were in demand. The Wiltern posters didn't go like this - each night you could buy posters after the shows ended.
Hey Everyone, just want to say a big THANK YOU for picking up the Port Chester sets...If anyone is looking for a matching set let me know ASAP as i could make a handful of them available, but if not tomorrow i will be offering the remaining copies as singles. Happy New Year everyone!
Just added 5 more sets then they are all done for the sets...thanks guys! http://statusserigraph.bigcartel.com (http://statusserigraph.bigcartel.com)
I believe I just snagged a set! Thank you

For me to be fully satisfied with a MMJ show, I need to wait in line for a poster. There's always great people right there with me...waiting in the cold at PC was great. Most of them were forum members or at least roll call. There's booze, joints and laughter just floating around.
I was able to get all 3 posters, and each night I held my poster as I rocked to MMJ...so my posters have absorbed some of the show's energy. You can not buy this type of experience...get in line!
many thanks to Justin @ Steri!!!!! Happy New year and I hope to buy many more poster from you!!
Once I receive my set I'll have a Thursday for sale for anyone who wasn't able to make it in time or can't buy a single off Justin's site
I just want to make sure I have them in hand before I let it go, I don't want need all 3 instead of 2 lol
i got #28 N1, #39 N2, #42 N3...would love to complete a matching set the old-fashioned forum way tho i know its a long shot if anyone has any of these numbers too that also posts on the boards. i can also photocopy N3 setlist and include within the tube to sweeten the deal
PM w/interest and pics to verify numbers and condition of prints. thx a bunch milton

Looking back at my posters, I think there's something more memorable and cooler about the ones I actually purchased at the venue compared to the ones I ordered online after the fact. Be it protecting it on flights home, hoping coat check doesn't lose it, or whatever..... for some reason it seems like a better souvenir to me when I get one at the merch table.
Congrats on the quick sale Justin!
Keep up the good work.
Also, congrats to all that scored this beautiful set!
I ended up with numbers:
Thursday - #11
Friday - #54
Saturday - #52

I know the feeling. I missed out on a Pearl Jam poster at PJ20 Alpine Valley. A year later I got one, but it's not the same. And it came with a price tag that looked similar to the figure I payed for both nights admission.
Realize this is an EXTREME longshot, but if anyone ever comes across an extra 12/29 poster, I'd be happy to take it off your hands via cash or trade. Just puttin' it out there!
Surprised they sold out so quickly at the venue. Had my 3set from SS yesterday. Next time I'll def be first in line ;-)
Hey guys just a heads up that the single posters for these shows will go up shortly...not many of these at all. Thanks!
Part of me is tempted to grab a single in hopes of trading it for something down the line....but then again I figure I'll just let people who missed out on these grab them. Thanks for putting them up online status! Really cool.
No, THANK YOU GUYS! Been super excited to see how well they have gone over...I was really happy with the set and I am super glad folks seem to be digging them!
super stoked to be able to pick up the set of these. the fact that my wife and I own our first home together in Port Chester, and that we're going to have a kid here very soon, made it absolutely necessary! Going to cherish these forever!
THANKS so much for making them available post show! Now I just gotta frame them right and find some room on the walls! Already have two Terminal 5's (Z and Tennessee Fire) and the Rochester show from 2010 (need to get the two MSG shows I attended) to go along with all the other show posters I've accumulated.
Never thought I had a hobby, but it's pretty clear I do when it comes to this. haha. too much fun. thanks again!
My Thursday is spoken for...

God dammit, I missed the single on-sale by a few hours!
Back to pleading and begging -- if anyone has an extra 12/29, I will trade a wonderful and voluminous bounty or plenty of straight up cash. Please let me know!

That's awesome. I have no clue how I ended up with #11 as I was the second to last person to get a poster. They pulled down the display one, sold it, and randomly found two others they could still sell. I grabbed one of them....so lucky.

anyone want to trade their PC 1 poster for a NYE poster? I'm thinking about it
I have an extra PC 1st night poster that I am willing to sell (at cost) or trade for another MMJ poster but I don't need one for NYE.

I wish i could spare the money right now. sadly i cannot
Hope everyone enjoyed the Port Chester shows!
I failed to pick up a poster on Friday night and saw that the rest are sold out. If anyone wants to sell a 12/28 Friday night poster to me that I can give to my dad as a birthday present I'd greatly appreciate it. Please let me know by pm or email saruilio@aol.com
I was lucky enough to snag the 3 poster set that Status put up in the beginning of the month. Thought I was never going to get them but they came yesterday.
Have to say these are beautiful. Really professional print job. The gold looks great! Nice job Justin and company at Status Serigraph!

I got mine yesterday too - incredible prints. Was also able to get the boca '11 poster in the same order from status. Time to go to the frame shop!!!
Thanks guys...I know they have been slow moving getting to everyone. 150 posters selling all in 2 days has been kinda a big process to get out. Making sure I get the same #'s in each order, etc...So Thanks for the support. As a one man show I truly appreciate every order and nice comment I get...thanks! :cheesy:
Heads up, just added 2 of these sets. After getting orders out I had 2 remaining...have at 'em! Thats all there is! http://statusserigraph.bigcartel.com/product/my-morning-jacket-port-chester-set (http://statusserigraph.bigcartel.com/product/my-morning-jacket-port-chester-set)

Woo Hoo! I was lucky enough to be on facebook at the right time and got one of the 2!
did anyone frame these together? I'd love to see pics, pretty sure thats what I'm gonna do.
I framed em separately because 3 would be HUGE. I did frame the RR posters together and they look awesome
I've been trying to put a set together but I'm not having much luck. If anyone has any extras they would like to sell, please pm me.
I have extras from night 1 and 2 and would be willing to trade for night 3 if anyone is interested
Anyone have framing/matting advice for these show posters? Want to do it right.
Anyone happen to have a Port Chester night 3? I drove up from Philly and need to frame this next to all my Pearl Jam posters. This is the only other band that deserves the framed and matted on the wall treatment besides PJ
I have tons and tons of stuff to trade...not all MMJ related but I will make a serious push for this.
Bueller?....

What do you have to trade?
I have 1, next to my Z poster. Not sure if I'll part with it but I'm curious at what you have.
I traded my NYE MSG 2008 for a pair of Williamsburg Park tickets. Thought that was good for both of us.
