i think this is right - sounds right playing along with the recording but kinda empty on it's own. you really need some atmospheric backing or 2 tons of reverb to nail the sound - but im pretty sure the chords are right - as always - suggestions welcomed
My Morning Jacket
I Needed It Most
tabbed by Tombarton@gmail.com
Capo 5
Intro:
G D Em D (2x)
......... C ........... Em
I needed it most, when I was eighteen.
.......... Am ............... D
But now that im older, I don't need many things.
.......... C ................ Em
Just someone to hold, that's what you give me.
............... Am
When dark touches your skull baby,
...........D ......... G
Aw babe you can drop that on me.
....... G ................ Am
So I say lord, all the heavens you've made,
............ C ........ D .... G
Cant hold back the ghosts that haunt my baby and me.
........... G ........... Am
Oh cant ye hold em back, form comin on in,
....... C ........ ... D .... G
To a lovely woman, that jus wans her mind back again.
interlude:
Em Dm C (4 or 5x)
for the Dm, i reccomend using the barre (x57765), relative to capo
(downstrokes on C)
V V V V ...................... G
I WILL NOT CRUMBLE! what you want this to be.
............... C .............. Em
Or bring peace of mind, if it aint there to see.
.......... Am ........... D ..... G
Aw if you don't know yourself, how could you ever know me.
.......... Am ........... D .................... G
But to have and to hold, yeah that's the way it's gotta be.
the last G is optional, or at least exceptionally quiet

That Em sounds like an E to me.
