Title: What time does ground control think 12 pm est is?

18 minutes after the time and still no announcement. Where do we even look for the thing. This is getting stupid.

well, it's too rich for me anyway. I'm out. As much as I would like to go to Mexico, I can't afford that and ever expect my husband to be cool with me traveling to see them anywhere else.

Of course you're given a week to decide if you want to drop 5-6K on a trip six months from now.

the location is convenient for me...however unless the governor decides to raise the pay for state employees I don't think I can swing this
i'm sure the property is going to be beautiful, I'm sure the food will be tasty, the weather will most likely be fantastic, and the whole musical event will probably be top notch....the question for me is value....
is 5 days/4 nights in Mexico with my favorite band, and all food/drink included worth $2000 including airfare, and if it is...do I have the money to pay for it

c'mon powerball

LOL!

Man, this is hilarious. Just about to head out the door to leave to Bonnaroo and they plop this on me. Well, at least I'll have something to think about on the 15-hour drive -- how many organs to sell to afford this.

Love the concept, hate the timing of announcement, hate how out of my budget this is. But kudos to MMJ management for thinking outside the box, this is going to be something special.

I agree, but nothing about it is convenient for me. I'd have to take two more days off work than if it was held over a weekend. The price is out of my league, and teacher's don't actually get time off the last week of January. As much as I'd like to go, it's not happening unless I too win the powerball. If I do, I'll pay your way too, Haldon.

No s**t. That's really awful to spring on us like this. I don't have the disposable funds to just drop on this right away, especially with all the AmericanaRama travel I got coming up. Damn them! Must find a way!

yea sun-thurs is not very convenient at all when thinking about PTO in a new calendar year...my bday is jan 28th and im def not gonna be able to go to this. like so many others i have other shows/festivals lined up for the summer as well as pending pearl jam announcement (october cough cough) but this would sure be an awesome getaway if i was in a serious relationship, married, or friends with some real die-hard mmj fans like myself

I suspect we'll see some great shows in the fall/winter right here in the US.  These guys just can't not play.  Gotta throw the rest of us a bone.

I thought they would be in studio working on the new album, but maybe they have other plans for that.
