Wow that was great! Love the behind the scenes. Hearing Jim scream out "shine on" with the great female backup vocals gives me the chills!
Great! Thanks for sharing!
I just watched it too. Good stuff. Thanks for posting.
There will be 7 more episodes in the weeks ahead. Twas a beautiful evening in Tennessee for all that attended.

I saw Dylan at the end
Episode 4 - Love Train + Use Me

Favorite part of Love Train was when everyone around me grabbed hands and danced our asses off. This whole series has been great. It's a great documentary of how perhaps the best Superjam of all time came to be. Plus I see lots of familiar faces!!!
"Love Train" was probably my favorite moment of the entire night. It provoked nothing but pure happiness emanating from deep within me! I'm thrilled to have this song profiled in this (fantastic) series.

This had been wonderful watching this all play out. I wasn't there, but this sure gives me great insight and a closeness to the show
Episode 5 - When Something Is Wrong With My Baby

Thanks, CC!
I wish they would release some of the Sly and the Family Stone stuff they did with Larry Graham. I think that was the point where my mind seriously left my body.
I'm hoping they do that on the next one. They've been teasing it the last two eps. I can't decide if Larry wore that white outfit the entire time they rehearsed or he has more than one. Perhaps he and Jim have more than music in common- unwashed clothes or multiple outfits that are identical.

I think they are leading up to it - I loved the whole thing but those songs were the highlights for me. I still can NOT believe you guys got to experience all of that from the rail.

That was hilarious!! The Larry Graham stuff was great too.
I liked seeing how excited/nervous Billy Idol was about doing this. After that long of a career, this was out of his element just enough to be new to him. He was a highlight of the show. Also very interesting to see how Larry Graham worked with them to get this Sly and the Family Stone songs together. That was definitely a highlight of the show for me. Of course Love Train still brings me joy all over when I remember the tent all joining hands. Those moments last forever. I'm glad I got to share that show with Devil Ledbetter, DylannD, Whippy, Ms Y, and Scosby2 and everyone in that tent.
I can't get over how every single one of these videos can be that good. This looks like it was a blast!
It was, Angelo. Nine months later and it is still a huge highlight for me.
