Title: jim with houndmouth at headliners
Post by: slappymoe on Dec 01, 2013, 10:05 AM
saw houndmouth at headliners last night.  kevin ratterman sat in on drums (damn, he's good) on an early song, and again for the last number.  halfway thru that last number, jim comes out for the last couple of verses and sends the place into a frenzy. :cheesy:

awesome ending to a great show, houndmouth is really, really good.

my problem:  for some reason (alcohol, maybe), i'm drawing a blank on the name of the last song.  it was a cover of an older tune.  hoping that some fellow louisvillian was there and can help me out.  my total lack of recall is really bugging me.

Wow. Houndmouth has been a favorite of mine for awhile now, so awesome to see Jim showing them some support. Found this clip on the tube.

kinda weird to see that jim felt the need to bring a bodyguard out on stage with him.

what's up with that?

if so, i stand corrected.

but then it's kinda weird that givan just stood there glaring into the crowd.  guess i don't get the joke.  wouldn't be the first time.
