Seems like Red Rocks is announcing dates over the next couple of weeks so hopefully we hear something soon.
Really hope this happens, really want to make it out there this year.

Question from a newcomer:
Also hoping for a Red Rocks show, but will take anything within striking distance of Colorado. Just curious if it's worthwhile going the Roll Call pre-sale route if a show happens. Does the system work well? Do you find out seat locations in advance, or not until day of show? The only fan club tix I've ever gotten were for Pearl Jam. Just wondering if it's just as easy to get good tix through general public ticket sales or if you do better through Roll Call. Thanks for your help!

Roll Call is great, minus a couple headaches from Ground Control from time to time. It is well worth the money, since you get a poster and a special 7" vinyl on top of the roll call pass to get into shows early. However, I wouldn't buy into it until a tour is announced, or until they make an official 2014 package.
thanks for the help!

Some of the presales through Roll Call have been quite disappointing, with best seats going elsewhere. According to the folks behind the scenes, these are issues due to the venue and others, not MMJ or Roll Call per se. Still, there have been many shows where the best seats I can pull from a Roll Call presale kinda suck ass. I would always suggest trying ticket presales, but if you're pulling crap seats, hold out for general onsale or last minute deals. That said, Roll Call membership is worth its cost, no question.

Agreed, if the venue is general admission, the pass is amazing.

I've pretty much had expedia on standby for a good while now in hopes of a Red Rocks run. Not too optimistic, though.
I'd seriously consider flying across if it turned out to be the September dates.

Highlight of the run right here!
Kings of Leon just announced Red Rocks show Sept 24th.... weather is usually still beautiful that time of year. I'm not completely giving up hope for MMJ making it there this year, the timing could still work with their album release.
There are no more Fri/Sat combos left for June-Sept...but there are a number of chunks of days during the week still available.
I think if they come to CO this year, we're gonna end up at the 1st bank Center unfortunately. Lets HOPE & PRAY we're not at Fiddler's Green again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's hope you're right, but I would be so surprised to see Live Nation out bid AEG Live in Denver for that. The Fillmore is holding on for dear life right now. I would expect the Ogden for multiple nights before the Fillmore.
