Please Please Please gawd hear my request.
I just heard Katy Perry is doing the halftime show. With all the awesome music going on and all the bands around is it unreasonable to request one of them step up and give us something other than Katy at halftime???
I just dont know if I can bear that....
I WHOLE-HEARTEDLY agree!!! Let's a couple of the guys and acoustic guitars. Granted my 14yo daughter and my 14yo niece will beg to differ, but too bad, so sad
I don't care who's playing at halftime, as long as the Packers are playing each quarter.
Packers and Broncos.
Anyway that would be beyond cool. I will say that since my daughter started making me listen to katy perry in the car it has grown on me.. Probably mostly because it makes me think of her, but nonetheless i do not mind a katy perry half time show. I would however love to see what kind of weirdness the host musicians could put together

I hope she sings I Kissed a Girl
Lol, she doesnt know that one exists quite yet :)
halftime=pool time
this would be a perfect opportunity for #CortezinPlaya
Sounds good by me I totally down with a halftime Cortez.
And while were at it, for the opener that night how about either Victory Dance to go with the Super Bowl theme, or.....A cover of We Are The Champions just for something totally different?
One more Packers victory left for "perfect star alignment" at OBH!!!
SEAHAWKS!!!!!!!
Super Bowl party was going to be so much fun before Peyton lost :(
Go Pats!
Packers vs Pats would be fun to watch! Go Patriots!
But Katie Perry? Past shows have included U2, Justin Timberlake, Aerosmith, Sammy Hagar...etc...
When did the half time show get bubble gummed out?

Even with Lenny K in it I am still holding out for some sort of 15 min acoustic set on site, with that many awesome bands/musicians around I think we can do better than Katy....
And for what its worth I'm going with Pack/Pats and a final score of 31-28 with the Packers taking the crown and a Victory Dance lead off from MMJ that night.
Woo Hoo! The activities schedule came out, and it says that the game will be shown on the beach. Pretty cool being able to watch the game with sand in between my toes. It also says that Patrick was a creative influence on the menu being served during the game. I wonder if we are going to get some of his pulled pork?

there will definitely be some pulled pork
I think halftime is the perfect opportunity for a Preservation Hall Jazz Band second line from the beach to the courtyard.
I all of a sudden don't give two craps about the superbowl party. :( Sad day in WI.

As a Bears fan, I approve this statement!
You approve of WI being sad? Or not giving craps about the SB? :) Either way it's understandable.
The packers couldn't have lost that game in a worse way. It hurts deep down.

Both  I'm just excited to be in Mexico. The idea of watching an American Sporting event in a foreign country didn't appeal to me too much. If I was in Europe during the World Cup, that would be cool. But I'm gonna be on vacation mode not caring about anything but the people I'm with and good times. I'm still hopeful that there will be a half time surprise show
The Seahawks did it! What an amazing game!!! I cant believe I am going to be watching my favorite team play in the super bowl on the beach in Mexico with a margarita in my hand. Then after they win, get to see my favorite band play with amazing like minded new friends with a margarita in my hand. My brain just exploded thinking about it.
GO SEAHAWKS!!! :cheesy:

It was an incredible game! I was actually rooting for the Packers, but I am happy that the Seahawks won. The Packers definitely deserved to lose that one. It looks like I will be rooting for the Seahawks since football isn't a one man sport, and JJ Watt wasn't enough to get my Texans in
Oh, and thanks......I am suddenly craving a margarita!
Go Pats!
