complete shot in the dark.
anyone else going to this show or any of the european shows?
I will - although I am from Berlin I rather fly to Cologne to see a full MMJ show than the festival gig in Berlin
I'm going to Manchester, London & Amsterdam.

nice. i am a definite for cologne (coming from saarland) and really looking forward to the small-sized venue of gloria theater (capacity is less than 1000 people).
i am also trying to figure a way to go to the show in amsterdam, but still need to work on the logistics.

Yep. Noted. Mind you knowing I've got the tickets metaphorically at least in my sweaty hands has got to be worth something? And I'd have been right royally pissed off if I'd failed when they go on general release. Postage on deluxe roll call put me off that shirt sadly.
Just bought my tickets.........
Three friends and I from New York are attending Antwerp and Koln shows. Anyone else from the states going to make it?

also, any word open their set list in pairs today?
Really looking forward to the show !!! I would also be interested in the Paris setlist.
interwebs inquiry - anyone know if here is any early entry for us roll callers at any of the european shows?
excited to see how the boys kick off the european tour tonight in antwerpen.
did a flyby of the venue his afternoon, heard a sound check going on and ended up staying over an hour. heard parts of, or most of the following:
In its infancy (the waterfall)
Circuital
Like a River (guitar riff only)
saw jj exiting while sitting at the cafe, he was nice enough to stop for a picture. thanks again jim, it was really appreciated.
can't wait for the show

Powerhouse encore
A great show it has been my third show. What I found strange was that Jim did not adress the audience once. Does he do that often ?

I'd say that is extremely unusual. Can't say I have ever been to a show where he hasn't talked at least once, usually it's multiple times.
When they played a 3 night run at the wiltern I believe in 2012 ..He barely said anything for 3 nights.I found it absolutely amazing and GREAT!Thats when hes focused and belting out song after song.NO FUCKING AROUND!
you might get a "HOW YOU GUYS DOING?!", a comment on the venue and and a thank you. That seems to be the standard Jim banter. Unless he's asking if you've got any disco ball back there...

he did this exactly, except he didn't ask about a disco ball; the venue had one though and it was used.

ha! poor carl.
i should preface this with the fact that my wife and i have been living in germany the past 18 months; and in all honesty, i rarely have the opportunity to speak english to anyone besides my lovely wife. suffice it to say, the time carl took to stop and chat was the longest i have spoken to anyone while living on european soil (again, besides talking to my wife).
i think i started by blabbering about my affinity for belgian beer since they were in antwerpen a night ago. we talked about the european tour and the venues they played and will be playing.
somehow i got to talking about living out here and the possibility that my wife and i will be moving to hawaii. also, i believe i invited the band to come visit after we settle. maybe the next obh...one can hope.

that'd be the coolest thing EVER, an OBH in Hawaii ?!?!?!?!?! I would work in a Coal Mine for a year to get tickets to that! Chelsea, my lady, hasn't been to Hawaii, and Hawaii is one of the few places I've never been (ive been to everywhere in Europe except anywhere East of Czech Republic, Saudi Arabia, Cozumel Mexico, Kenya, Australia etc) .
Hawaii OBH would be fucking amazing, and it's a total no-brainer!
