Title: Dream setlist
Post by: Bulldog on Sep 21, 2015, 10:45 PM
So maybe I'm missing it and its been discussed here before, but I have a question to pose to ya'all.

If THE BAND, could play any set list they choose regardless of we we wanted to hear, just whatever they felt like playing, what do you suppose it would look like?

I ponder that on occasion when I'm searching for whatever tune of theirs moves me on a given day and have always wonder what it would look like. Heavy on the older obscure stuff? All new shit given they havent played it as much?

Thoughts?

Lonndown27 - That is a great setlist.

What is truly amazing are the songs you left off:
Dondante
Gideon
Magheetah
War Begun
Phone Went West
One Big Holiday
Golden
The Way That He Sings
Touch Me
I'm Amazed
Wordless Chorus

A whole bunch of staples there.  Your set would be a true highlight with loads of album track rarities!

I know haha I just saw my first show in 2012 and besides Phone War Begun Evelyn's we didn't get too many it was a greatest hits show which I actually loved and needed to see for my first.  But those songs like I Will Sing You Songs Steam Engine Rollin Back Oxen How Do You Know They Ran etc have meant so much to me in my continued exploration of the band and I HAVE to see those songs live at some point in time.  I hope Salt lake will at least get a couple of these (JohnnyYac is totally helping out in the department of making it happen)

WORDLESS
GIDEON
EVIL URGES
PHONE WENT WEST
WAR BEGUN
EVELYN'S NOT REAL
OBH
MAHGEETAH
RUN THRU

THAT show would be a marathon of epic proportions of brilliantness! I love the way your show's song puzzles fit, like little clusters of madness all attached to the same nodes of the brain? I dunno im stoned and so into that setlist you posted a bit ago
