Whoa this is also INDY 500 weekend!
Scored 2 GA Pit!
Anyone know if there is actual pit section or all seats?
I've seen several shows there, the last being Ben Harper this past summer. Tickets were all general admission, but then you could get a wrist band for "the pit" on a first come, first serve basis. The "pit" was pretty large, but was nice to have. From looking at the ticket options, it looks like this show has a designated ticket for the pit considering the price difference. Hopefully, it won't be as large as the Ben Harper one. Its a social venue, so a having a pit is great. Overall, a cool place and walking distance from downtown.
in regards to seats, none of the shows I've been to there had rows of seats. the venue does hand out low seated chairs as you enter the venue if you wish to have a chair rather that sit on the grass.

See you beauts in the Pit! Headed for the rail!!!
I'm really confused by the price range.... did i miss PIT tickets now that tix are on sale to the General Public?
Also, I have not been to a lawn show in a while.... will I get early access to the lawn to get a good spot with my deluxe membership? Thanks for any help!
Pit tickets on Live Nation are hid on the "buy on map" function. You need to go to "best available" function and chose the price / pit.

Any guess when MMJ will go on? I'm coming straight from work so I'll probably have to miss the Barr Bros.

awesome that Carl got a lil spotlight at his hometown show.
I'm desperately looking for a poster from the Indy show. Stupid me waited until after the show to try and buy one and they were sold out. Anybody pick up an extra poster they would be willing to sell?
Who did the poster? I'm trying to intuit the Red Rocks artist so I can figure out if I need to splurge on the damn foils...

edit: definitely Fung pulled this off of an ebay listing.

They seem to be in an artist rut lately, with the majority going to Reno or Helton, and sprinkle in the occasional Burwell. If I had to guess I would go with Helton for Red Rocks, but would love to see them mix it up with some fresh meat.
edit: Think that is actually Randy Fung, not Reno. Sorry.

I would keep an eye out on his website, www.clintonreno.com or email him about when he'll put up his copies for sale.

actually the more I look at it, I think it's actually Randy Fung not Clinton Reno. My bad.
It's Fung. 100%

Wordless was somewhere in here as well.
That Fung poster is really good. I like it a lot.
I hope they get a new artist for RR. Even though I am not going or planning on buying the posters - something fresh to look at would be cool! Always been a fan of Nate Duval. Would be great to see a MMJ poster done by him.

awesome that Carl got a lil spotlight at his hometown show.
Crowd was great as was the venue.
Carl seemed super stoked and put on an amazing performance.
Yuls and I were third row on his side and the people around us were shouting out to him all night. A guy behind me (Pike High School alum) said he had seen Carls' brother there earlier.
Jim spoke (near end of show ) about the boys' love for Carl & how "F******" great a musician Carl is!
Highlights for me included

Nate has done at least one MMJ poster, I think from a FL show last year.

It's a Randy Fung. Small run of posters. (Only 193 numbered for sale at venue)
Lots of love for Carl. BIG CARRIED AWAY and VICTORY DANCE!!! Jim came over before Victory and mumbled something very close to "This is Carl. Guess where popped out into the universe...? Right here." Seemed to be giving Carl much respect. Carl was shredding. Big love for Carl show. Steam encore opener was a surprise !
