So just doing some guestimating here.......
OBH2 sold out and each attendee got a code, not just each reservation (2500)
There's an unknown number that attended OBH1, but not OBH2 that got codes (say 200)
There's an unknown number of Roll Callers that didn't attend either, but requested a code (?)
There are 1264 rooms at resort (minus several rooms reserved for support staff and bands: I know Pres Hall at least, was in the resort last time).
So I'm just estimating nearly 2000 codes are going to have to go unused to even make it to general on-sale. Most of the prior attendees who are couples will probably use just one code, but there is potential for some shenanigans there.
Hopefully it won't be a complete shit-show tomorrow, but there is a definite possibility
that some people who have been counting on going for the first time will be shut out.
Cloud 9 knows there is pent-up demand because prices have been raised across the board, and they eliminated early-bird pricing.

I've wondered about that, trying to be a first time attendee this year. Fan since 2001 and every year Roll Call member but this will be my first OBH plunge, hopefully.

On my residual high from Red Rocks last week, I missed the RC opt-in by 20 minutes. Thought it was midnight ET, not 5 PM ET. Its on me for not opting in weeks ago.

I kind of love, and hate, that this is such an exclusive thing. While I can't make it this year, it's definitely something I would love to be able to do in the future if the guys keep this a semi-annual thing.

It hasn't been an exclusive thing. OBH1 didn't sell out and OBH2 took months to sell out. With that year off, there's pent up demand that may lead to a bigger venue in the future.
I may be wrong, but it seems a bit premature to assume that OBH will sell out during presale. It never had before. You may not have your pick of room type and/or location, but I would expect some availability for general on sale. Giving prior attendees first dibs is a perk, and the presale will eat up a lot of the best and cheapest rooms. For what its worth, I'm a prior attendee and will not be going to OBH 3, so that's one less competitor for those getting all worried. Good luck to all who hope to go!
Well I got a code that I may not use because I can't find a roommate yet. So I would guess there a lot of codes that go un-used.
My wife and I have been to both and I doubt it sells out during the pre-sale. Now once it goes public it might not last too long...My guess is it's sold out by the weekend

That's hilarious. My wife has done this to me several times in this exact situation. I always end up reading novels at 4am in order to calm down.

I had the 12:15 time slot and it was the same for me. I was trying for the Double Sky Terrace, but settled for the Deluxe Gold Concert Courtyard with 2 doubles. We had the same room last year, and we knew that we had to have concert courtyard again. It was worth the extra money to us. 8 months!

In the same exact position... I might have made a different call if it had been in a different resort or if they hadn't raised the prices but after experiencing the majesty of Red Rocks, I just couldn't legitimize the expenditure down to Mexico. OBH4 will definitely be on the radar, though.
For those of you who are going for the first time, though... it was an awesome experience. You will have a BLAST.

This is similar to previous years. I believe if you want to go it will happen. The majority of rooms at the resort are deluxe gold and that is mostly what is left. Also, plans change and there will be rooms for sale later even if it sells out now.
An update from anyone on what is still available would be really excellent! Thank you in advance :smiley:
