For me its hard to beat NYE 2008 (http://www.archive.org/details/mmj2008-12-31) at the Garden!

Although they played quite a few nice versions on their mini tour earlier this year IMO with the PHJB. We got a nice one in Columbus to send us on our way but I have yet to find a taping of that performance to surface anywhere much to my chagrin... :-/

my vote goes to msg 2008 - the audacity to open with this and the rush of joy just makes it ace. that night was the moment !

i agree w/ jmk & fiddle - best i've heard. the audio from that recording is excellent, jims vocals are sublime & mmj & phjb gelled perfectly. when you listen to it - you just know that they were all loving that moment.
