webcast starts at 10.30pm EST
mmj hits the stage around 11pm
If I were to sum up MMJ's set last night at the Cradle, I would just simply say that it provided me with several of those "I-can't-believe-I'm-seeing-this-its-so-fucking-good" moments.
MMJ rocked the house again. The new songs sounded great. Bring the kick ass!
last night's set:
Dancefloors
Lowdown
One Big Holiday
I Will Sing You Songs
O Is The One That Is Real
There's Just One Thing
Heartbreakin Man
The Way That He Sings
Mahgeetah
Steam Engine
Ol' September Blues (solo)
The Dark
Easy Mornin' Rebel
As an update to this old thread:
It has been less than a year since MMJ last played the Cradle. When they played in April 2003, a scattering of people were there for a Sunday night show.
Last night, only nine months later, the venue was PACKED on a cold Wednesday night in January.
It made me happy to see such a huge turn out.
Its amazing to think how much the MMJ fanbase has expaned here, and across the country/world in that small amount of time.
Congrats on all the success, fellas.
That look slike a great set but i'd bad disappointed not to hear Phone Went West. Its just such a great live song
take note... that the Cradle Webcast posting is from April 2003... it is NOT the show from last night...someone replied to that thread and made it jump to the list of threads...
although, hopefully DCN is still at the Cat's Cradle and they will show last nights show soon...
PS - according to initial reports - last night they DID play Phone Went West
Indeed, they did play Phone Went West.
