Oh man.  I don't know if I can go to the Montreal show.  I'm already going to the Buffalo show.  And I don't have a car, and I don't think my bike could handle the drive.  :(

But we could talk about it...

Let me look at dates.  Ryan, do you have my email address?

there are tons of rideshares to and from Toronto-Montreal.
search for rideboards or rideshares...esp McGill Univ.
for like $40.
I use them all the time. its mostly students travelling to/from home to univ. looking to share gas money

while in Montreal, you should eat at Gibby's.  have the chicken kiev.  go have a drink at the Cube in the Hotel St. Paul...ask for Wild Turkey, they don't have any other kinds of bourbon (sadly).  then take a stroll along the river in old montreal and enjoy the scenery....

Yeah, the rideshare thing could possibly work...

maaaaaaaaaan...

Can a person take off all the time and go to rock shows and still get stuff done?   :-/

Stuff? Stuff?? What does "stuff" matter when you've got shows to attend?  ;)

The stuff will still be there when you get back  ;D

I was trying to figure out a way to get up there. I'm going to be in Cleveland this weekend and trying to find an excuse to ditch work, stay a couple of more days to drive up and see the show.

Any good work excuses that I may not used already?

All I need to say at work is that I'm going to see My Morning Jacket, and it's basically a free pass.  But I have a different kind of lady that I work for.  :)

You stick with your benefits for your baby.  I get to take off when I need, but if I need a cavity filled, I'm fucked.  :)

But I'll put in a good word for you.  Any good with budgets?

Well, I guess there are benefits.  I have never found a doctor worth a shit.  I have had some pretty big assholes try to make me put weird stuff in my body that was very unnecessary.  (antiobiotics for starters.)  The waits are crazy.  And fuck it, I won't complain.  It's a difficult system for everyone.

Ha.  I am the same.  Budgets at work all day long.  No budgets at home.  :)

well, if it weren't for my day job, we'd be totally fucked in the healthcare dept. as america's idea of insurance is like a whole other mortgage payment.  so, it's a mixed bag i guess...

just bought a $20 bottle of Elijah Craig single barrel.  talk about no budgeting...mmmmmmmmmmmmm, bourbon.

O bourbon...wish a Manhattan was an acceptable breakfast cocktail at work.

I might be coming through Toronto, but it would be the 25th, cuz I'm going to Burlington first for the show on the 26th - I'm taking an MMJ vacation!

Perhaps it's time to make it an acceptable one?

Ah ha ha.  I see.  Burlington Vermont.  We have a Burlington in Ontario, too, and I couldn't understand why anyone would want to play there.  Or if they even have a venue.

Apologies to Burlingtonites.  :)

Hehe, we have a Burlington here in Oklahoma too, and I'd rather drive to Vermont to see a Jacket show.  :-/ /Burlingtonians?
