At The Scala, September 6th
Thanks for that Ajaxx. Won't get excited intil nearer the time, just in case :-/
not to be negative, but I just confirmed that Elvis, Jesus, Moses, Jim Morrison, and Ben Franklin on the sax are all playing on 10-10-2007 at the Rudyard Kipling, to be opened by a reunited Beatles and hosted by Ryan Seacrest.
Tickets are 400 Gazillion dollars each, or your immortal soul.
Seriously, show rumors are funny but not real until confirmed here. "some guy at the venue told me" ain't cutting it.
Ah shit, I thought that show with Jesus, Elvis and Jim Morrisson was a secret show scheduled at the Ryman. ;)
no way man! it's the Rud all the way... ;)
Ticket agencies are already selling tickets. That's got to be close to confirmed hasn't it ?

oh cool, you guys are lucky. Two shows in the UK confirmed on the site.

can we get someone to video that one?
Or at least bring their recording crap. Oh wow.
hey, I wasn't trying to be an asshole, but we've had this come up in the past and I was just trying to guard against false hopes and whatnot.
Bravo!
WE know you're not an asshole, John. Nobody thinks that. :)

If someone wants to fly me to the U.K. I'll make a nice audio recording of it and if they'll let me video tape I'll bring my two digital video cameras. Just let me know if someone comes up with my airplane ticket. Thanks,
Brian
P.S. If everyone chips in a few bucks mabey you can all afford to send me to london. Just a thought.
Also, I am completely jokeing.................Unless your going to do it. ;D
(Corey and Brian have the same little quote! Very cool. It's good.)
Um, damn. Okay fine. But they'd better not take any damn subways or buses. :-/
I'm so excited for dith and greggy and you other UK folks!!! :)
Ha, have fun, all you lucky UK'ers, and a solo show too!
I'm totally stressing out over these European dates as I'll be in the south of France from 10 to 25 September...

Where ya flyin from?
(checkin orbitz)
Knoxville, Nashville or Atlanta would all be fine. Also, I do fly coach, even though it's unheard of for a five star to do that. I could suck it up for this trip. ;)
Oh Brian, I swear to God if I had the money I would go and I would take you with me. :)
yea, guys! i hope this can be a light at the end of the tunnel for some of the shit that has been happening to you guys as of late. hang in there and most importantly, have fun watching jim sing in that beautiful church. :)

Ah, If only you WERE in charge of the world.
I second the emotion of being very happy for all of our UK fans. You all are in for a treat.
Sheesh, its almost 1100 bucks (american) to send you. Hopefully some UK'er with good taste and a good recording rig will decide to visit this concert.
:'( Mabey someone could have a carwash or sell thier bodies or something.
Damn it I am starting my honeymoon on the 8th in London. I would love to catch them again this year. Well hopefully they end up in Norway or Sweden while I am there. Or how about Oktoberfest in Munich. Crossing my fingers.....
Honeymoon! Congratulations! Tonight I had a friend tell me that he got engaged last week. :)
$1100 American to fly to London? Whaaaaaaaat? It's like $600 from here.
C-c-c-crazy.
yeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaa ive got my tix for both gigs. The church is amazing, i see Josh Ritter play there last year. The acoustics should suit Jim just fine...counting the days.
Thanks EC. My tickets aren't quite that expensive, they are like 860 each but from Chicago to London, London to Copenhagen, Copenhagen to London, London to Munich and then back to Chicago. So not to bad for 860.

No, it's something more rural! Kinda, lazy, reading, swimming in the pool, taking aan occasional bike ride, drinking Ricard with plenty of ice kinda vibe. So no computers too!
I'm slightly thinking about going to London, but I have to wait till the other dates come in. But maybe it's sold out by then, difficult situation! And it's Wilco in Berlin on the eighth, which I'm also thinking about... crazy.
By the way will Jim play "I Think I'm Going To Hell" at church? He should!

[I secretly hope this is the beginning of a trend for the new tour. Big rock show + Jim solo show (maybe Carl should open for him... hmmm, that's a REALLY GOOD IDEA!!!)]
