I have not gone to any shows yet on this tour but I have seen Kathleen Edwards about four times - three headlining and once opening for Guster. One of her headlining shows was in Louisville and the guys from MMJ were there to take it in. Anyone having thoughts about showing up just to see MMJ should really consider going early to watch her. I promise you will not be let down.
My first show this tour - Oct. 26 at bogart's - look for the guy rockin out in a beard. HA that should be easy.
Quote...once opening for Guster.
Guster has love for MMJ! This is an excerpt from their Bonnaroo 2004 road journal entry.

My Morning Jacket were the band on stage when the first monsoon of the weekend swept in. They were having a good set with a big crowd when giant black clowds rolled in, loomed overhead, and winds started gusting. For a song or two everyone was just waiting in anticipation, stage techs scrambling to cover guitars and electronics... and then you saw it... you could *see* the rain before you could feel it... coming at you like a swarm of bugs. When it hit, the crowd let out a roar but stuck around, and the band kept on playing while their guitar pedals and drums got soaked, bringing the energy up to the point where everyone knew they were witnessing something special. It was a great moment. The only thing that ruined it for me was seeing some guy in bermuda shorts with chicken legs running around the stage taking pictures with his camera-phone (Ryan Miller).
Sorry, but i don't agree...

Don't be sorry, everyone is entitled to their opinion - but if you paid the money why not show up and give her a chance?
