If word gets out that PJ is opening for MMJ at certain shows, you're going to see a lot of smaller venues clearing out once Vedder and Co. finish their set up.
Let's just delete this entire thread. I'm sure it's a mistake and I wouldn't want any rumors getting started
'taint true, people. though it probably should be. Anyway, I wonder whose opening for the jacket in the fall?
Don't tease us, Dylan! You cruel bastard.
That'd rock the balls off if PJ opened for MMJ during this Fall Tour... and it's only fair, if you ask me - because PJ hasn't come down south in a year or two, anyway.
Doesn't matter who opens, I'll be up front.

With Patrick and Carl.
Wax Fang on the first 11 shows and The Slip on the last 7.
Who can tell me something about Wax Fang?
Wax Fang is a fellow Louisville band (formerly Scott Carney & Heavy Friends). They're a great band and a good fit as opener, sort of psychadelic twang rock if that loose description holds up. They're getting a lot of local alternative press around town right now, so I'm glad to see them able to join MMJ on the road...
I'd like to go ahead and 2nd and 3rd the fact that Wax Fang are awesome.
Kevin, the drummer, is a sweet man who will, and I'm not kidding, astound you with his drumming. Absolutely fan-fucking-tastic.
Jake, the basserer, is also a nice fella.
Scott, the singerer and guitarer, is someone I don't kn wo too well but he always makes a point to not beat me up whenever I see him.
Go early and see them.
THE SLIP!!!
