Ordered tickets today from seetickets.com for the show 22nd Sept. It said UNRESERVED tickets. What does that mean?
Anyone else attending this show?
Can't wait. Just need airline tickets now... ::)
I would think that "unreserved" means "General admission", but I have been known to be naive.
So that would basically mean that there is no reserved seating? That was my first conclusion, but i am knowned to be norwegian and have never heard of an unreserved ticket... ???
that was the best "lost in translation" ever.
I took it as no assigned seats as well. Me and two buds are coming across the pond for the weekend to check out the show. Anyone have any thoughts on the section of London the venue is in? Is it worth/safe getting a hotel there. Thanks.
The Astoria has tables and chairs and a lot of standing and dancing room.
Have a look at this. We've stayed in one called the Gresham Hotel. There are lots of hotels within walking distance.

YES HE IS!!! ;D
Hey Tore, finally a fellow Jacket fan going to the Astoria show! Like the good Doc said, the Astoria has unreserved standing downstairs & a few chairs upstairs on the balcony. All tickets are the same, you can stand downstairs or sit upstairs (limited).
It's an excellent venue, my fav in London.
I now live in Japan but used to live just outside of London so let me know if I can help you out with anything :)
My wife & I need to get a hotel for the Friday night...
Thanks, good folks.
A friend of mine is moving to London this fall, so accomodation is all taken care of. Can't wait for this. Sadly MMJ aren't going to Norway as they where supposed to during the cancelled tour. Haven't seen MMJ live since I last saw them in july 2004.
hey guys, myself and the girlfriend are heading over for this show too, it should be great!
Wish they would come to Ireland again though, magical shows indeed!
Hey Manicminer, welcome aboard!
Great to finally hear from some UK fans going to the Astoria show :)
You're travelling all the way from Ireland?
Hey manicminer :)
The Astoria's a great venue - I'm sure there'll be a good atmosphere. I've heard fab things about the Irish shows as well. It would be cool if the board members could introduce each other. I met Riny at a show, Shepherds Bush Empire I thik it was. It's always good to put a face to a name.
Enjoy guys :D

I missed that show by only a month when I was home a couple years ago...2004, no? Or was it 2003? It's all a blur, I'm getting old ;)
Actually there's no need for a wink, I am getting old & my memory isn't quite what it used to be :-[
There, that's a better smiley...
yes, that was shepherds bush, july 2004 :)
That's right, I missed the show by a few weeks & was broken hearted but got to see Billy Joe Shaver & Reckless Kelly at the Bordeline which was pretty special. Jesse Taylor was on guitar that night...
Got my tickets! ;D
Cant wait. On the tickets it says "plus special guests". Anyone heard what that is all about?
Yeah coming over from Ireland, seen the guys 3 times now already all in Dublin ... needless to say the first time blew me away.
I have tickets bought ... just hope I get them. Got an email saying they were posted, then another saying they were at the box office :S
Guess I'll call them.
Thanks for the welcome, enjoy the show :)
QuoteGot my tickets! ;D

No word on a support band yet.
"Plus special guests" on a ticket in the UK usually means they haven't confirmed who's playing yet,
I guess it's more polite & a little more exciting than just printing "plus a support band" :)

Did you find a good hotel John? Where are you travelling from?
My wife & I will be in London for the show & I would love to meet some Jacket fans for a couple of pre-show drinks.
Only problem is we have no idea what time we'll be in London (my sister's wedding is the next day so we'll be busy in the morning/afternoon)
I'll let you know nearer the time when I have a better idea of what's going on :)
I'd be up for a pint or whatever if there is a gathering, sounds like good craic :)
Gonna try and find a hotel that link is very useful cheers.

Everyone should meet at the Tottenham Pub Next to the McDonalds and outside Tottenham Court Road Tube Station...at the crossroads ...were you can do a deal with the devil...I'll be in there with a few hundred converts.see you there.......seriously and that means you as well Riny :)

Hi guys! Can anyone help us out with the accomodation? Maybe a cheap hostel in the vicinity of the venue or something like that? We're paying quite a lot of money for the trip so we're on a low budget. ;D
London is notoriously expensive but you could try these.
http://www.activereservations.com/hotel/en/unitedkingdom/england/greaterlondon/london/camden/bloomsbury?subid=PPCGO1g2071en They're close to the Astoria.
Or you could try this site. Travel in London is easy and quite cheap. http://www.travelstay.com/cheap_london_hotels.htm?gclid=CN_Cpuux-IYCFRemQgod_TQGbg
All the best.

This one's quite close, and has some twin rooms available:

I've used hostelworld.com quite a lot while travelling, and they never let me down.
I''ve been lurking silently on the board for a while now, but just got too excited to keep quiet any longer having read the Manchester setlist. Had to register and get involved...
Hey guys,
I'm coming over from Belgium to see the Astoria show with Eurolines buses company. But apparently I would have to leave on thursday already and I can only come back on Sunday at 9PM. It's gonna cost me a fortune to get a hotel for three days. So I guess what I'm saying is: anyone driving back to the vast continent the day after the show or something?? LMK!
Greets, Jan
Jan, maybe a better option would be to take a flight so you only have to stay one night. London flights with EasyJet or RyanAir are pretty cheap.
Hey Guys.
I'll be hitting the Astoria show at the end of September. I'll be going alone and travelling down from Cambridge.
This is also my first post. That is all ;D
Hey Baskerville, welcome aboard!
Looks like there's going to be a bit of a gathering at the
'Tottenham Pub Next to the McDonalds and outside Tottenham Court Road Tube Station' hope you can make it :)
Hey!

QuoteI'm just a newbie. I'm sure people would give me the cold shoulder ;D
I shouldn't worry about that too much, I live in Japan so I haven't met any of the UK/London fans :)
Whilst we're on the subject of the Astoria show, any idea who's opening for them yet CC?
QuoteWhilst we're on the subject of the Astoria show, any idea who's opening for them yet CC?
no idea. will let you all know when i find out.
I'm a newbie, too. Really looking forward to the Astoria gig, and now a pint at the Tottenham.
I've been reading the board for a while, and you guys have got to be the least cliquey bunch on the net... must be the long-term effect of a daily dose of The Jacket!
MarkW
Hey Mark, good to have you aboard!
Hoping to make it to the Tottenham for a pint or 2 but I'm still not sure of my schedule (my sister's getting married the next day!)
Whereabouts in the UK are you from? :)
Hi dragOnbOy
Living just north of London at the moment, but from deepest Suffolk in East Anglia.
Was it just a lucky coincidence that your sister is getting married the next day? I see from previous posts that you're currently in Japan...
Never seen MMJ live before. Getting more excited by the prospect the closer we get, some of the stuff in the live archive is amazing...
MarkW
Hey Mark,
Not that far from my old stomping ground of Reading.
I do indeed live in Japan, for my sins (no wait...that was Reading) :-[
The Astora will be my first Jacket show too, I got VERY lucky with regards to being home at the same time for my sister's wedding.
Needless to say I think about it every day & CAN NOT WAIT!!!
QuoteHey!

That definately wouldn't happen. There are quite a few UK fans on here. Dragonboy will be there. MarkW is also a newbie - give him a PM. We're all nice - it's a prerequisite. Have fun :D
Baskerville would be welcome to PM me, but I have no idea what that is or how it works. It's making me feel old just thinking about it. ???

Aeroplane is one of my five favourite records.
Hi Baskerville
I do indeed like NMH. Even after many listens, I'm not sure whether I get what Aeroplane is about, but I like it just the same.
Look forward to seeing you at the pre-gig meetup. We can be the scared looking newbies hiding in the corner. ;)

See you at the Tottenham prior. We'll be the Yanks in the MMJ gear.

Hey John
I'm not sure the pub will be ready ready for an MMJ-attired American invasion. Gonna be a riot!
I come from germany and I'm going to see their show in London.
Does anybody know, whether there will still be tickets available at the box office that evening (Sept. 22)?
Don't know whether I will manage to organise the tickets in time.
thanx for any helpful infos ::)
Hey Dudess!
I wouldn't take a chance if I were you, especially travelling from so far. I'm surprised the show hasn't sold out yet...I'm sure it will.
Here's a link for the tickets:

Dudess, I ordered my tickets from Astoria, and i got them in a few days. It's reliable and efficient. I'd say order them now.
Seems like people are coming in from all over the world for this gig.

hmmm, thanx for the infos... the only problem is that I haven't got a credit card :( ??? :-[ :-/ :'(... ;)
or I ask my dad whether he can order the tix for me...
...a friend of mine has friends in london and they buy the tix for me, but I don't believe that they are reliable...
Hmm, that's a tough one.
Do you think your Dad will let you use his card? I hope so...
I used to use my parent's credit card for tickets all the time when I was 15/16/17. That wasn't so bad but I used to always ask if I could get tickets for my 2 friends too. My poor parents...
Try my best with my dad :D
does anyone have any idea, how long the dudes will play?
I hope more than 50 minutes, so it's worth the trip to london.
Hi all,
I'm a newbie on the board and fairly new to the band. I haven't yet seen them live but I had a ticket for the cancelled Birmingham gig. My problem is I'm worried I might not be able to make the rescheduled gig so should I book a ticket for the London gig (before they sell out) with the possibility that I might end up going to both gigs rather than none.
I guess my question is are they the kind of live band that you could watch night after night and never tire of or will it take away from the experience seeing them twice in quick succession?
I think I already know the answer but I wanted to put it to the pro's.
Anyway nice to meet you all.
Hey PomPomPom, get tickets for the Astoria!
I, my friend, am a long time fan who has yet to see the band live yet can still assure you 100% that you will not be disappointed, quite the opposite - you will be blown away!!!
PS What does PomPomPom mean?!! ;D
Definately get the ticket for London. Seeing them twice in close succession would be an absolute joy - I guarantee it.
Welcome to the board :D
Quotedoes anyone have any idea, how long the dudes will play?

It's a headline show Dudess so at I would say 1hr +
Probably closer to 1hr30...
Well, I went ahead and bought me a ticket, I couldn't resist, all I needed was the faintest of nudges so thanks for that guys. Now I can't wait for the show. Maybe I'll meet some of you there?
Oh and dragOnbOy the name PomPomPom was just the first thing I thought of when I registered. The reason behind it is that 'Lowdown' from Bonnaroo 2003 was the first MMJ song that ever made me shiver in delight (and started my obsession with the band) and it was the bit before the verse that just got me. I don't know even what Jim is singing but it always sounded like "Pom Pom Pom" to me so hence the name... Can anyone shed any light on what the lyrics are for that bit?
I don't think there are any lyrics for that bit. Pom pom pom is as good an interpretation as any ;D
http://www.mymorningjacket.com/atdawn.html
This will be my sixth show for MMJ and I have yet to see them play longer than an hour and a half, but I'm banking (int'l airfare) that they will wrap up the European tour in style. Keep in mind they did rock Bonaroo for over three hours so the have the material, including insane covers, to do it. Will our friends from Amsterdam be bringing party treats? ;)
I WAS WANTING SOME "ICE CREAM." HE KNEW EXACTLY WHAT I MEANT.

PomPomPom,
I saw them at Edinburgh on Saturday and if I could have gone back again on Sunday I would have jumped at the chance. The buss lasted for days. I'm going to the Astoria gig and am struggling to last nearly a month without seeing the guys live.
I just hope that things go OK for them during this tragic and difficult time. Hopefully getting back on the road will be the best therapy.

Yer, name tags might result in a kicking! I'll let everyone know what T-shirt I'll be wearing when I pack in 2 weeks time. Thinking about it my lovely wife Miki will probably stick out like a sore thumb (i met her at the crackhouse next door to The Staunton)

London's Astoria15,000 Join The Fight To Save London's Astoria
Posted: August 29, 2006
LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) -- London music fans have banded together to fight the possible closure of one of the city's most legendary clubs, collecting more than 15,000 signatures on a public petition.
The historic Astoria in Soho is part of a block slated to be converted into flats and shops, after being sold for £23.75 million by Compco Holdings to Derwent Valley.
The 2,000-capacity club has hosted the Rolling Stones, Nirvana, Oasis and Blur as they ascended to superstardom. Modern alternative acts Arctic Monkeys, Primal Scream, the Streets and Wolfmother have all played the venue within the past 12 months.
The Astoria is currently under lease to Live Nation-owned Mean Fiddler until 2008, but the company claims it is powerless to stop any redevelopment of the venue.
"It's a great venue, with its capacity and history. A lot of very cool bands have played there in the past. People attach themselves emotionally to music and I'm sure they have the same affinity with venues," Live Nation's Christine Gorman told The Guardian.
"We have a long-term lease with them and we are very happy to operate from there and work with the owners of the actual building. We have no say as to what their plans are. Our aim is to provide the best possible entertainment for the consumer. We can't get involved in other areas, especially when we are not the ones making the ultimate decision."
The venue also hosts the city's best-known gay club night, G-A-Y, which has hosted performances by pop acts including Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Gloria Gaynor, the Spice Girls and Christina Aguilera. --by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
Yer they've been threatening to close it down for years for one reason or another. Looks like it might really happen this time though. I hope not, hands down my fav venue in London. I saw Nirvana there (with Mudhoney) NIN, Janes Addiction, Tool, RATM & countless others...
Nirvana and Mudhoney. Now THERE'S a night out ;D
Yer I was lucky enough to see the infamous Mudhoney, Nirvana, Tad show in...I think it was '89?
I wish I had kept all of my tickets, I can't remember half the concerts I've been to. Living so close to London (Reading) my friends & I went up a couple of times a month. I didn't realise how lucky I was until I moved to Japan...
Whoo-hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!
After seeing Jim at that tiny gig in Camden last year, i've been really looking forward to seeing the whole band. It should be a hell of a night. The setlists are looking pretty cool as well. As long as they play The Bear at the Astoria, I'll be a very happy man.
By the way, the Tottenham pub normally gets really busy when there is a gig on at the Astoria. We went there before the 22-20s last year and could hardly move!
so, I ordered my tickets yesterday. :D hopefully I get them in time. dunno how long the delivery will be ???, fingers crossed, but 3 weeks will last out..
As i said earlier, i think i got mine in no more then a week. it might have been less, so hopefully you should be allright.
Quoteso, I ordered my tickets yesterday. :D hopefully I get them in time. dunno how long the delivery will be ???, fingers crossed, but 3 weeks will last out..

As vatro mentioned, 3 dudes flying from Croatia to concert. We are deciding which hostel we're gonna take.
We narrowed choices to few, which are located on those locations:
- 27 Montague Street, Bloomsbury
- 45 Queensborough Terrace, Bayswater
- 229 Great Portland Street, W1W 5PN
- 7-12 Leinster Square, Bayswater W2 4PP
- 12 Sherwood Street, Piccadilly, W1F 7BR
- 24 Ladbroke road, Notting Hill
So, obvious question. Which one is the closest to Astoria?
Thnx for help. See you all at Tottenham pub ;)

i'm no London expert so someone correct me if i'm wrong.
I only know London by a few street names & tube stations, sorry guys :-[
CC's right. The Bloomsbury one's the closest. Look at this map. The Astoria is circled, and you can see Montague Street just above the British Museum.

I love the global feel of our glorious forum!
;D
I'm the third guy from Croatia and I have a question too.
We (Vatro, Frank and me) are part-time journalists.
Who do we have to ask for a photo acreditation.? I suppose that we will not be allowed to take a camera inside the Astoria.
We sent an e- mail to the contact that we found on the Astoria site, but we did not get an answer.
Maybe we must contact the organiser of the concert???
Hey everyone, I'm heading down from Scotland - does that increase the globalisation of our MMJ virtual village? Was lucky enough to snag a ticket the day before their recent Edinburgh show and while I'm generally quite circumspect about forum gushing, I can honestly say it was as close to a religious experience as I've had!
Nothing could prepare me for just how powerful Jim's voice was live and despite only beng familiar with Tennesse Fire beforehand it was a breathtaking night for me from start to finish - so refreshing to see a band feed off a great crowd and perform like it really means something to them.
Seeing them for the first time in such a cosy venue felt like a true privilidge, at times during newer songs like Anytime and Wht a wonderful man it felt like witnessing the Who doing Won't Get Fooled Again in my front room! I also liked the fact that Jim broke a lenghty silence with a joyful welcome and took the opportunity to rap the greedy promoters for the scandalous practice of putting gigs second to club nights which inevitably force an earlier finish - all too evident in Edinburgh, but elsewhere in the Uk too.
Wasn't Jim James the name of a waco-type cult leader from the 70s? Truly the messiah is resurrected!
As a Londoner I can confirm that Bloomsbury and Piccadilly are both walkable to Astoria.
Any word yet re support and expected stage times?
See y'all down the ffront, fingers tightly crossed for Lowdown, Golden, Old Sept Blues, Mahgeetah and the Way That He Sings (possibly the most appropriate songtitle ever?)

So, is everyone here going to that Tottenham pub before the concert? I'll probably have to talk my friend into going there before the show. Would be great to get to talk to someone with the same passion for MMJ as me for once.
People back here in Norway are getting sick of listening to me going on about MMJ all the time. Played a gig with my band today, and I asked if I could wear a MMJ-shirt on stage, and they all said "Again???!!"... ;D

i think i've driven all my friends nuts going on about mmj - i've been using recent gigs to try and get a group together for when mmj tour here (if i go to this robbie williams concert with you, you ARE coming to mmj with me)
;)
keep wearing the shirt tore.... one day soon they'll all catch on to the magic!
and db.... i expect photos, a full concert review and rundown....
;)
Finally I have my new passport. ;D ;D ;D ;D
I still can't believe that we are going to London to see MMJ!!!
PJ and MMJ are my favorite bands and when I've heard that they are playing together across Europe I was afraid to open the show page on the website.
I was very excited when I realized that PJ will play in Zagreb (haven't seen them since Salzburg and Ljubljana in 2001), but then a disappointment followed: MMJ will not be with them here! So I started planning Italy or something else close and convenient.
Then another frustration: my boss won't let me go.
:-/
Finally Vatroslav called and said: Let's go see MMJ in London. We don't need visas anymore and there are cheap flights.
So, it is going to be MMJ in London on the weekend of 22rd, then PJ on 26th in Zagreb (special concert without a support band; there are rumors that they will play a pre acoustic set).
And if M Ward should play again in Zagreb or Band of Horses perhaps comes anywhere near it will be the best concert year of my life.

12 DAYS TO GO!!!
I booked my wife & I a 5star hotel for the night of the 22 yesterday, If you're going to see The Jacket then you may as well do it in style!
The 19th of September is the 2 year anniversary of our first date so we're going to celebrate in style. My wife still has no idea!
Yesterday I couldn't contain my excitement, I literaly freaked out after booking the hotel, I can't believe this is really happening!!! ;D :'( ;D :'( ;D

10 DAYS TO GO!!!
10?!! Just 10?!!
i'm sensing just a small amount of excitement here from the japan sector.... just a vague impression
;D
you're not looking forward to this at all, really are you db?
Take it or leave Ali, take it or leave it. Might still sell my tickets, not sure yet...
;)
yeah, i'd sort of picked up that fairly ambivalent vibe ...
;)
Hey all,
Has anyone outside England actually received their tix yet? Getting a little nervous about getting them, but also excited as heck for the show. Crossing my fingers for Sooner, Phone Went West or The Bear but will just be stoked to be with so many MMJ fans as rabid as myself. 10 DAYS!
Quote10 DAYS!

I believe hours encounting are pretty much universal, dude! :D
So what about the setlist? Which songs do we hope for?
at dawn, bermuda highway, xmas curtain :)
and just one thing
QuoteI believe hours encounting are pretty much universal, dude! :D
Haha, you're quite right!
I'm like a kid at Christmas time trying my hardest to wish the hours away & speed up time ;D
Quoteat dawn, bermuda highway, xmas curtain :)

I concur with those.
I'd also like to hear Steam Engine which seems to come by rarely these days. And I think i'm going to hell.
Of the more obscure wishes, i would have to say Cobra!

8 DAYS TO GO (GIVE OR TAKE A FEW HOURS)!!!
;D
are you going to need sedation on the flight db?? if you're this excited ALREADY, i hope your wife realises her husband's going to be bouncing off the walls of the cabin on the way over!
;)
Quote...are you going to need sedation on the flight db?? if you're this excited ALREADY, i hope your wife realises her husband's going to be bouncing off the walls of the cabin on the way over!
The flight is the only part that I'm not looking forward to.
There are no direct flights from Nagoya to Heathrow so we have to transit in Seoul. The whole thing door to door (hotel) is 24hrs + :P :P :P
My wife can sleep on the plane but I can't, which makes it even worse.
Anyway, I'm not complaining...I get to see my family, my little sister get married
& my first Jacket show!!!
what you really need is to get okonokos on the inflight screens!! now THAT would make flying a pleasant experience!
That would indeed be great!
It's my first time flying Asiana Airlines. I hope they have the individual TV screens with a choice of movies & games etc, that always makes such a difference.
I plan on listening to all four studio albums in a row during the flight.
asiana? never heard of them... next time i have an international flight i am definitely making sure there are individual screens...
i listened to a lot of mmj on the plane, a lot of sigur ros too (which was nice & relaxing to try to sleep to)
QuoteHey all,
Has anyone outside England actually received their tix yet? Getting a little nervous about getting them, but also excited as heck for the show.
Yup, ordered them on august 17th and they arrived two weeks later.
:)
Mine arrived 5 days after ordering them.
....my second wish list: steam engine, I will sing you songs, I just want to be your friend (mostly the chapter I + II stuff)
I like these demo-stuff, because it sounds like Jim James sits in your room and he sings songs for you. really nice :)
so yeah, some b-sides and demo-songs, please!!

Quite right Sir!!!
So that's it guys, I'm flying tomorrow & won't be posting for a while. I was a little worried about the countdown but it looks like Tore is in the case.
I nearly gave the game away last night. I suggested to my wife that she pack her WM3 T-shirt, she asked why & I replied 'for the gig'!
I don't think she caught it but she knows something is up. I think she knows that I've booked a hotel...still she can't have any idea that we're seeing the Jacket...SEEING THE JACKET!!!

ONE WEEK TO GO!!!
(Sorry Tore, had to do it one last time!)
Still not sure if I'll be able to make it to the Tottenham. I'd love to but I'm still not sure of my schedule etc.
I'll be wearing a black & white Free The West Memphis 3 t-shirt, please say hi if you see me!
Take care until then & safe journeys for anyone who's travelling.
See you in a week friends!!! ;D ;D ;D

Anyone know the showtimes?
Just as a warning, I've been to a gig at the Astoria before when the headliner was on VERY EARLY, like, 8.00PM. Loads of people were turning up at 9PM and some were in floods of tears cos they'd pretty much missed the whole gig.
So I say: unless someone knows what time MMJ are on, ALLOW PLENTY OF TIME!
Yes there is an early curfew at the Astoria on a Friday so get there early to avoid disappointment. I'd guess 7.15 for David Dondero and 8.00pm for My Morning Jacket just to be on the safe side.
Yeah, we were nearly caught out by that once.
Thanks guys
Nice as it is to drink in a London boozer, I'd sure hate to miss a second of the Jacket...
I'm going insane with excitement. I've had to calm myself down with large doses of single malt. On a Tuesday night. ???
You are so gonna love it! You all are :D
For the folks who can meet at the Tottenham, how about a 6:00 PM start time for a quick pint?

believe me...you probably won't want to hang around for the club night afterwards....
Tomorrow i'm packing my bags and heading for London! Can't wait. Probably drop by Tottenham pub before the show. Don't be afraid to drop a word. I'll be the dude with the blondest hair of 'em all... Probably... :D
I'm blond too ;)
I'm so excited, I already packed my bag on monday :P
Then we are two! I'll be the blondest guy though. Bets on that! ;D
Damnit, im looking forward to this! Hope they give us something special since its the last show on their european tour.
Hopefully they will play that new song they wrote about how much they hate Houston! The working title is Houston, You Have A Problem.
We are in dier (sp.) need of some new shows for the archive. HOPEFULLY someone will tape this great show!
Oh and please host in on archive.org.

Tuesday afternoon on the forum.....
New Forum User : Hey everybody, I'm new here. I just got turned on to this band and I can't get enough of them. They make me want to hug strangers and punch the wall all during the same song. How can one group of five guys be this good. Anyway, I was wanting to download some live shows and I was hoping someone could make some suggestions on a few good ones that stand out. Thanks in advance.
XBermudaXHitchhikerX: Dude you gotta check out Astoria '06. Following is a list of former board members that were actually there, but unfortunately they are no longer with us. They all had their brains melted and rose straight to heaven during the encore.

New poster to the board, though I've referenced it for information many times.
I live in San Francisco, but extended my stay in London until Saturday when I found out MMJ is here (I've been to every MMY Fillmore show and will be looking for myself on the DVD on Halloween).
HOWEVER... I can't find a ticket to save my life. Even had the hotel concierge working on it for two days straight.
I'm willing to do roughly anything. Anybody have a source, or god forbid an extra? It's worth a considerable amount to me in cash and pints.
Thanks so much. And if it doesn't work out, those of you who are going -- please have a hell of a show.
Good luck with that Pagoda - I hope you get a ticket.
And welcome to the board :)
pagoda, app there's a meetup before the show at 'Tottenham Pub Next to the McDonalds and outside Tottenham Court Road Tube Station'.
i think riny's going. maybe if you go and intro yourself to him good things will happen. *
* sorry riny - not sure how else to get this person's name as i won't be online much longer today.
** also, to avoid pagoda impersonators maybe you better show some sf id, too!
crap, maybe i shouldn't have posted this but i didn't know if he/she would get a private message.

You'll be able to buy from a tout outside...will probably cost you about £30.00. well worth it i'd say!!!
good luck
I have a horrible feeling the show is going to be real short this evening. I'm terrified that it will be. The club night starts at 10.30 and im not sure when the band are due on. Anyone have any idea?
8.20

Hi Pagoda,
I got a spare ticket you can have for the face price...have PM'ed with details.
Should be a great show! Not long now...
Thanks to everyone -- and especially growl -- for the help and advice.
Chalk me up as another pond-crosser able to see the show.
Will probably catch a few warm up pints at the tottenham... look for a typically confused-looking american about six and a half feet tall.
I'm so pleased for you pagoda - have a great time :D
I am new to this board. I am deperate for a ticket for tonight's gig. Seen them several times here, and was gutted when they cancelled their last UK shows. Was supposed to be on holiday today but not going any more (as from today).
Does anyone have a spare to sell?
Apologies if this has been discussed and no-one has any left.
If not i will have to buy one from a tout.
