Ahh very cool. I want one :-) Thanks!
Just found this..

He's been playing it for a while now, Laurie. Are you just now hearing it? You're usually so on top of things. :)
Slacker!
(Just kidding!)
I can't wait to hear this. I took a nap for the last few hours and missed this post.
didn't Jim say in the interview that they are going to start writing material after they tour the West Coast in Januaray? that's freekin' sweet!
maybe a new album by the Fall of '07? that would be on schedule with the MMJ/Verizon Promotion..."New Every Two"...didn't you all know that Verizon stole that from the Jacket and there was a huge lawsuit (obviously that's a joke!)
That would be very nice. I read a while back that Jim doesn't usually write while he's on the road.
Wasn't there quite a bit of the delay between when they recorded "Z" and when it was actually released? Although, I'm sure that was probably a label decision.

I deserved that though..I'm sure I've heard it, probably always assumed it was Bo doing fancy schmancy things.
Learn somethin' new every day.
Wow, can't wait to hear this.
Thanks for taping, love the pics! :)

That makes total sense though if you are listening to a show. I was actually at the first show that the omnichord ever made an appearance (as far as I know). So it was kind of a big deal because everyone was like "Ooooh. What is that?!?!?!?"
:)

Many thanks! Did you record this from the internet stream or from the radio station itself?
Holy shit!!!!!
"Tonight I Want to Celebrate With You" is fucking fantastic.
An electronic instrument (omnichord) combined with the pedal steel is such a great combination. Very, very cool. I can't wait to listen to the rest of the tunes.
Thanks so much for putting this up.
BTW, the shot of Jim with the shot of Ray Charles is great. Funny as shit.
Wow, that was fast! Thanks SO much GivenToFly :)
It Beats 4 U just made me cry! :'(
This is SO amazing! We are SO lucky to have this stuff, thanks again!
Wow, I completely missed this one. Thanks so much, YouAre_GivenToFly! :)

Listening to it now. Beautiful Hopefully :)

DORK ALERT:
It looks like Jim got a new omnichord. The one that he used in Bham (and Nashville last fall if I'm not mistaken) was white and the one that he played on KCRW is black. I remember him saying that the minor chords on the white one were broken, so I assume that's why.
END DORK ALERT

ok...so who wants to get the videos on savefile?
I can't guarantee success, but I'll give that a try in a little while, cmc.
that certainly is a new omnichord!
good deal. it did sound like all we heard of the last one were C, F, and G and this one definitely gets some minor chords on Tonight...
w00t!

I <3 Deanna.
Thanks Youaregiventofly for the MP3's, and thanks Deanna for the vids!
I love you all!!
:-*
The reverb on this performance is awesome. And Jim's vocals on Hopefully sounds replica to the album version.
Wow, this is so kickass I'm going to post twice. I love MMJ with every ounce of my existance.
Thanks everyone. Sounds beautiful!
You're all very welcome. :-*
Jim's vocals are fantastic. I smiled when one of the songs popped up on iTunes shuffle today.

I've got a couple shows in front of it but I have it downloaded and ready to go to archive if no one else beats me to it.
Before that, i've got a show from 8-25-2006 and a show from 2001 sent to me by Low Dog to share on archive.
I'll post here when it's up.
yea. deanna = awesome.
and a sweet picture thing.
how exciting that during the performance jim mentions how attractive carl is.
jim knows. ;D ;D
