Are you kidding me? We're in!
I have been working on some new moves for Run Thru.
OK, focus, focus, focus...
I'll have enough sparkling raspberry soda for the whole theater!
Game on!
That was perfect, I got through the first sentence and said.......You have to be FUCKING kidding me.
I'm takeing the day off.....PRE GAME PARTY at my house!!!!!
Everyone is invited!!!!!! I'll be serving "Chicken Penis appetizers to go with the sparkeling rasberry drinks.

Here's hoping that you all kick the crap out of those Blue Belly Wildcats. Louisville fan here.
this will surely be the last time that MMJ plays the Tennesse Theater - one of the most beautiful venues i've stepped foot in.
hmmmmm....how much are tickets?
also, my Dad lives in Atlanta...
I'm there.
I'm bringing brownies too, Sweatboard. 8)
I live in Memphis, and Knox is roughly 8 hours away. But i have friends at UT but I'm only 16 and the show is for 18 yr. olds. Anyone know how strict they are bout that. In Memphis is can scam my way into any venue for 18+ im just cuious about the Tennessee Theatre rules...
My point in saying that is that I'd skip school and drive up there on a friday, but i wouldn't do it unless i could get inot the show
None of my friends want to go to the Knoxville show "conmigo." They're all, "Why go to more than one?"
Whatever. I'm there. Even if I do have to make the four hour drive by myself.

I know for a fact that they check id's before you go in. This was a year ago at the MMJ show, but I know they checked everybody's before you went in.
are you shitting me, meddle?! the tennessee theatre is for all ages. the show they played last year was at Blue Cats, a local bar that requires you to be 18 and have a real ID. But as for the Tennessee Theatre, no, they WILL NOT check Ids. But check the TN theatre's website to make sure. Im 17 and I DEFINATLY will be at that show. I am skippin school that day and gettin at the TN theatre around 6 just to make sure i get front row tickets for it.

you might want to get tickets before the show. It's not general admission and you won't get front row day of the show.
I'm going to try my hardest to go to this show.

Whoops. I spaced on the fact that it wasn't blue cats...tennessee theatre should be good though. Woo!
all right guys. see you there.
Quoteall right guys. see you there.
good choice! ;)
How your guys tickets work out? Got 4th row in the pit, left side. Pretty good area. I must say I will miss the atmosphere of the smaller club shows like when they'd play at Blue Cats. I was up front for both of the shows they played there and it was great. A bigger venue without being smashed to one another, getting smoke blown in your face, and beer poured on you just isn't the same. Still should be great though.
i skipped school on friday and got to knoxville around 8:30ish. i then waited outside the ticket box office in the morning windy chilled weather just to make sure I was the first to get a tickets and waited till 10 to get my tickets. i bought 8 tickets in the second row of the pit. this will be one hell of a show...i just hope they will have the energy they had when they played their amazing show in nashville at the Rites of Spring show
Bought tickets yesterday.
I'm right-center, orchestra, row G.
See ya'll there.
ORCHESTRA CENTER row E seat 111

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
Only 25 more days...
Two more weeks...muahahahahha.
10 days....
i got tickets the day i heard about the show, but got them a little too late so im right under the ledge of the balcony. Looking at the theatre though, it seems no matter where you sit, its going to be a good view. and it doesnt matter because its MMJ and anything within ear shot will blow your mind away. ;)
1 Week...
Only 3 days to go, I'm very excited as this will be my first MMJ show! The Tennessee is a beautiful venue for those who haven't been there, the crowds can be a little too laid back sometimes (See: Wilco show on Summerteeth tour that caused the band not to return for almost six years), and the staff in the balcony area told folks during the Ryan Adams show to remain seated, but still one of the best places for a show.
shit imma stand up haha.
In my 11 years in Knoxville, standing at concerts seems to be foreign to a lot of people. I remember seeing th Afghan Whigs at the Bijou and during the intro to the second song Gregg Dulli shouted "Get on your feet or get on your knees!" to those not standing already.
yea seriously they arent gonna make you sit down. i saw the drive by truckers concert there and no one was sitting. enjoy the show and the best city in the south (Knoxville)
Well I always stand, I mean it is a rock show, but the Ryan Adams show, the floor were all on their feet, but those of us in the balcony brave enough to stand were repeatly "asked" to sit by ushers, seems the sleepy people inthe back row were not as into the show and didn't want to stand.
Personally I feel like if you buy a ticket to a rock n roll show you should be hoping its good enough to keep you on your feet!
