I emailed XMU about why they didn't broadcast our boys. It turns out the band management didn't give them permission to do a taping. This probably also explains why they weren't on Blue Room.
It's interesting, though. The band seem pretty lenient with tapings, so why don't they want any recordings now? All of the sudden they seem kind of...secretive.

I find it hard to believe that management would all of a sudden change their minds about tapings. Perhaps the band has changed their stance, but I'd say it's more likely that whatever PR rep you contacted from XFM is trying to deflect the heat.
Ya know someone mentioned that it would be fucking killer if MMJ offered their shows like PJ, WSP, etc. and it would be but what I really wanna know is, is there anything we as fans with one large voice can do to kinda let them know that we would all be buying the shit out of every show and that maybe they could look into it. Or is that lame for me suggest? I personally would buy everything and I know alot of you would I mean face it we are an obbsesive bunch.
email management and let them know how you feel. If a lot of people do it, they may take it seriously and ask the band how they feel.
note: I'm not saying everyone should email management about every little request but I think this is a legitimate reason to do so.
I did that, thanks for the suggestion. Do you think it would carry more weight if multiple fans contacted management or do you think maybe not?

I think maybe we could pass around a word doc or a text file that we could type our names down with our forum handle and email address and in a week or so, pass that to management. Hopefully we could get a lot of folks to sign it...
just a thought. We shouldn't call it a petition though, that seems negative.
Yeah thats what I wanted to say to but the whole "petition" thing bothered me too.
