I listened to the show last night live and really wasn't feeling it. This morning the archived version just sounds so much better! The new songs are fantastic. The sound quality of the archived stream is beautiful.
These guys are so special! I just don't know what else to say.
Nice link on the lour reed tribute. It's funny, Lou Reed is playing here (DC) at the 9:30 next month. It's a smallish club, tickets have been on sale for 2 days, and there are a ton left. I'd go, but my wife and I will be in Mexico. ANybody seen him on this tour or otherwise understand why there isn't much interest?
I've heard the tour is a tribute to the Berlin 25th anniversary. I will leave it till closer to the show to decide if i go but Lou has never disappointed. He is a god.
gotta love this shot

Hey
if anyone wants most or part of the AMH show, I recorded the NPR stream using Wiretap Pro and already have it all divided up. I got the interview and Evil Urges preview as well. My stream did drop out for about 90 seconds on Off the Record and about 60 seconds at the end of Steam Engine (so if anyone has complete copies of those let me know). Feel free to contact me if you would like them: jonact@excite.com. Was an awesome show, love the new stuff, it rocks!

I think the best part of the show last night was the reaction of the announcers. Its these peoples job to talk and they were just fucking speechless at first and then began to ramble.
Warning: Studies have shown that MMJ live shows may cause melting of the brain.

really complimentary review but i get so bored with reviewers leaning on describing bands by comparing them to someone else. seems a bit on the lazy side. (who is kind of tired this morning? ;D )
I'm listening to it right now and I really wish I would have stayed up last night and joined you guys. I cannot wait for RCMH!

:o new desktop!
Show was pretty good. New songs were exciting and fresh.
listening to the show at work today. very good stuff - like most new songs, goin to take me a few listens to fully form opinions, but the song that most jumped out me so far is "thank you too," as Ron Burgandy might say "thats baby making music!"
