You crazy S.O.B.!!!

I was there.  Went to visit a friend in Jersey and made a big trip of it.  Started out in Chicago seeing the 2nd Hum reunion show, then on to New York for Les Claypool at the Nokia Theater, MMJ at Webster Hall, some Blue Man Group action and a Sumo Championship at Madison Square Garden.  Hell of a week.  I saw MMJ 6 times that autumn.

Those are some great pics.  That really takes me back.  Many thanks.

I was at the MMJ at Webster Hall and the Sumo Championship, too!!!

.... You know those were a couple of the sumo wrestlers they found dead at the Gershwin Hotel .....

...Not the first time they found dead sumo wrestlers there ... I think it was the 3rd or 4th time ....... Tragic ....

Weirdness.  That Sumo thing was awesome though.  Not knowing who any of them were and yet as soon as they came out you pretty much knew which one you wanted to root for and the fact that the matches were pretty short made it quite a lot of fun.

I ate sushi for the first time right before that.  Late bloomer here with the sushi.  Haha.  Found it to be a fitting time to try though.

Side note:  after the MMJ show they were passing out Z stickers outside the venue.   To this day it is the only sticker on my automobile.  I find it to be a statement that only a real MMJ fan would recognize, and that way I know I can geek out when they talk about it.

Dweeb alert!  Haha.
