We are looking for information about the venue and what to do after the show. Is the venue close to where we would want to kick it and hit up bars? What is cool to do? Where should we stay? Share some Louisville insight.

I would say Fourth Street Live may be too clean for a bunch of sweaty Jacket Kids after a face humping like we'll receive. Plus, I do everything in my powers to keep from going there...it's way too complicated and quite overdone (my opinion only-sorry to offend). I think we should congregate toward the back of the grass (a lot of people are going to watch the show from towards the back anyway) and see if people want to hang out together. I'd love to hang out with some Forum members, as I have only met a couple. I'm voting for something less busy, but not quite a dive...something on Bardstown Road...maybe the Back Door. And no, it's not a gay bar-LOL! They've got a pretty good layout-bar, booths, fireplace, pool tables, archade machines, deck for smoking, etc. Just a suggestion.
im my opinion people who go to 4th street alot, are only out to be seen.
and man, thats just not my type of scene. though i have been known to hit up the makers mark lounge occasionally, just because of my love for bourbon.
i live right off bardstown road, and its pretty chill, lots of bars and coffee shops, plus plenty of shopping and cool places to eat. ramsi's is my favorite for sure.
and as far as places to stay, like meg said the brown and galt house are nice, but so is the marriot across from the convention center. i have stayed at all three before i moved to louisville. the brown is my favorite for sure. and if you stay there you gotta try the hot brown at the english grill in the hotel. its a kentucky tradition.
hope this helps.....louisville is a mix of in-betweens, so there is always something for someone.
Go to Browning's pre-show and meet some of the coolest peeps in the world!

Dude- like we gotta' get "Mr. Big" there even if we have to man-nap him! (DG)
I don't think he's got a problem with going... I just spoke to him about it this weekend. We're hauling ass to Nashville the night before with Love Dog too!
GREAT! I guess you and I just missed each other last Sat. nite in Mt. Sterling because you had something else come up.
