About time they play in my neck of the woods! Not that Madison or Milwaukee is that far but I have places to stay in Iowa City. Great news! I'll have to check out the venue, is that on campus? Now if I could only get them to play in Dubuque, IA... ;)

That's quite a haul BH....400 miles plus. What a diehard. Milwaukee is only like 200 miles for me...hopefully I'll be first or second row again this time. I thought the Rec Center in IC was just a big gym? Too bad they weren't playing at the Black Box where I saw Bon Iver. That's a pretty small room though. THe Picador would've been pretty sweet too. Saw Dan Deacon there, and Nirvana, the Hold Steady, etc. has played there. It's kind of a dump with lots of hippies and punks running around, would've been great
It's actually only about 240 miles. Just follow the big river north. About the same distance as my trip to KC in couple weeks.
seamus, you're not going to the Council Bluffs show? I would have brought the spotted cow.
I go to school here, imagine how stoked I was when I found out my favorite band was playing :) Tickets are in the mail woot! Will also be seeing them in Kansas City and Council Bluffs if any other forumers are going
I'm 95% going to IC...Council Bluffs is too far (I think it's about 7-8 hours) since I already have tickets to Milwaukee (which is a great venue BTW)...now watch'em pull out Cobra or Lil Billy or ITIGTH...thanks for the offer of the Spotted Cow though Walter! My fridge is stocked with New Glarus beer right now! Not for long though...
