of course with the release of urges the band has blown up. there is no questioning that. however, moving from the fillmore nye 06 to msg nye 08 is a monumental change. almost 18,000 more tickets! i fully support the balls and recognition it takes to book that gig at msg. i;ve seen some discussions of ticket sales on here; wondering what everyone thinks about how many tickets the jacket will sell. the arena holds 19,500. i don't believe red rocks was completely sold out the other night. discuss.
Red Rocks is one thing...MSG on NYE is another thing. I don't know if it will sell out, but I guarantee it will be full.
