Afternoon Giveaway Alert: Space-Available Tickets to My Morning Jacket ACL Taping
KLRU will be taping an episode of Austin City Limits featuring My Morning Jacket on Monday, August 25, at 8 p.m. We'll be giving away a pair of space-available tickets during two separate giveaways this afternoon, one between 3-3:30 p.m. and the second between 4:30-5 p.m. The first folks to fill out each contest form when it goes live on our Weekly IST List page gets 'em. I went to a taping (Raconteurs/Sufjan Stevens) last fall, around the ACL festival, so let say September, and the show aired in December. I think they start to run them October-ish....so this one could be on then as it is recorded earlier in the year. How about that for a vague answer.
Second ACL taping, I didn't think that would happen so soon.

No, that's great, exactly the kind of answer I was hoping for. This is exciting. Looks like maybe they will get a whole hour? Anyone going tonight? Hoping for a setlist!
