i guess something w/a little give room and a bib since i'll be jumping around spilling beer on myself and others--i like the old school tux idea, though

There was some discussion on this before but I couldnt find the thread. Pretty sure I'm going with an old school tux, maybe a derby hat lol.

I think that conversation was at Bearno's after the Louisville show. We were talking about dressing like the party guests in Okonokos.

I have been avoiding all threads re: NYE because I really did not think I could go. But now I find out that I will be in NYC as of 1/3/09 for work and am trying my best to finagle my way there for NYE. So now I feel like I can add my 2 cents:

According to what I read in the Relix interview a few months back, this is part 2 of the NYE Oregon Trail meets Donner Party extravaganza that was the Fillmore on 12/31/06. When we last saw our fearless band on NYE, well, they were all headed to the afterlife. So I am thinking outfits in white. Something to draw on the fact that they all headed up on the Stairway to Heaven.

I sure do hope that my plotting and planning works out. I have tickets. I have a place to stay. Flights are still available and reasonable. I just have to convince work that this is beneficial to me and not detrimental to the biz. Wish me luck ::)
