My local station usually plays ACL at 7 and again at 11.  For some reason they have last week's Jacob Dylan show scheduled at 7 and MMJ at 11.  I'm all about the instant gratification and am not thrilled about having to wait.

Had to watch Okonokos to pacify myself.

i shed a tear during thank you too! that has turned into one of my all time favorite songs ever!

I wish though they would have played a country rocker Lay Low, Maghetta Easy Morning Rebel or Im Amazed rather than librarian  - just so they could show case more of their styles....but all in all, they really show cased everything they're capable of doing.  So proud of my boys!

Rock N' Roll Hair Raising Madness - OBH
Funk/Soul - Evil Urges
Country Goodness - Sec Walkin'
Epic Balled - Smokin' From Shootin'
Synth Out/Funk Out - Highly Suspicious
Dance Tune - Wordless
Beautiful Folk Talk - Librarian
Spaced Out Head Bopper - Touch Me
Timeless Rock Classic - War Begun

That was a good time!  I was cracking up watching Highly Suspicious.  How can you not....??? That is the weirdest song they own :D

I guess they didnt air the whole set/show, but I thought the only misstep was having Thank You Too > Sec Walkin back to back early in the set. If they were gonna put too slower songs back to back, you shouldve been off of AD or ISM  :)

I think that cemented me on Smokin From Shootin being my favortie song off EU. I think its hands-down got the best lyrics on the album

As for War Begun, it seriously is the "Machine Gun" of this era. You can just feel the battle in the solo

I left a peanut butter pudding surprise in my pants by the time that was over

On Sunday I was watching Football with my wife's family. My father in law out of the blue starts talking about ACL. He starts off saying there was a really great band on by the name of My Kentucky Heroes.
He goes into this story about how great of a set they performed.
He starts telling me how he could really get into them. He said "Man the lead singer has an amazing voice". Then my wife's grandfather who had watched ACL as well starts talking about watching it. He thought it was neat how they played an omnichord.

I started grinning ear to ear. I then went into telling them who the Band is and what they are about. My father in law wants to see them live now!

Nothing, nothing at all

I just turned 24 though, so I couldnt say hooking up with someone roughly twice my age is all that ordinary for me (just like mistaking WBegun for BHwy)

I have always had a thing for MILFs though. However in this case, she was more just like a fairly attractive middle aged woman who may or may not have had kids, than a MILF, but I have no regrets

I was watching this again last night and when Highly Suspicious came on my four year old kept saying, "Daaad, do that thing you do when this song comes on."   I'm not sure what she was talking about but I'm positive it involves air guitar, head banging and jumping around the living room.

I may be a neurotic idiot, but I don't want to see this for the first time online.  Im either gonna wait for a download DVD or the rerun, which seems to be about 2-3 months I've noticed.  Damn, I can't believe this didn't run here.  ACL runs EVERY other week, but this one.  FUCK!!!!

Still working on it. My dad is the one in the house that knows how to make menus and stuff not me and he works 5 days a week. This weekend he should work on it for me and then I'll watch it and make sure it works and then I'll freebie it up.

Nice find man.   Great behind the scenes look at my favorite tv music show!

Did he say that the current studio is on the Texas University campus?  That makes it even funnier that Nathan Followill changed the "O" on his drums to read "OU" during their ACL performance. Ballsy.

They split a show with Death Cab for Cutie in 05.  Jim also appeared on Bright Eyes show that he did during the Monsters of Folk tour in 04, but I guess that one doesn't really count.

this fanbase needs to step it up on the turn around time for media.  I appreciate everything everyones doing.  but Radiohead, DMB, Phish, Pearl Jam, etc etc it would be uploaded the next day on their forum. someone upload this bitch in .avi, divx or whatever other lower quality, easily uploaded/downloaded content.  It doesn't need to be dvd HD quality for me, I'm just going to watch it on my PC with bitchin headphones.

anyways, wtf fans this is far too long of a wait for the turn around on a pbs special.  step it up people.  this is my morning jacket we're talking about.  we need a faster turn around time on media yo.

I definitely hate that site too. To download stuff you need to be a member, and so I tried to make an account, but the site told me it already has 101,973 users, which apparently is too many, and so I don't get to make an account. Lame. Someone please do something immediately. Being a european, I was (twice) robbed of my first MMJ concert because of Jim's Off The Record (Off The Stage) extravaganza, so I really need this.

And for those that don't download for whatever reason,I will be willing to host a few B&P's when it's done downloading here.Drop me a PM if interested.

I would suggest checking your spam/junk folder as that is where mine was sent.

For those that were denied an account, just keep checking as they do open up frequently.  I checked about 5 different times in an hour and got through in that time frame.

There are a couple of files in the download that don't need to be there - if you look in the "video_ts" folder, there is an "Anchor" and a "Volume " file. Make sure you don't include these in your burn, that *may* help. I use Nero on Windows, and it automatically recognises that these files aren't needed. The burn was fine, played on my PC and DVD player.  :)

Hi Guys.
Obviously this download works as everyone seems to be enjoying it, but I'm having trouble.
I created an account for dimeadozen and accessed the torrent download page normally... started my torrent download... but then in my torrent client (I use BitComet) it wouldn't connect to any seeds or peers... even though it said there were 50 some-odd peers on the dimeadozen page...
Now I'm just confused.  I'm not that handy with torrents, any suggestions for getting my download to kickstart???  /Thanks.
