Happy New Years!!!!!!!!!!
got my poster will after the show was over, signed by two tone, number 167 out of 415. what a great night,,,
I got the Guy Burwell poster, I really love his stuff. I might get it framed along with the Radio City poster in a big custom frame. They look really cool together.

Very cool stuff! Have always loved their posters through the years. Hopefully left overs will hit the store...if not, would love to get my hands on a M mens T if there is an extra floating around out there.

yea i had to get the show specific merch cause they don't have tour shirts and they're awesome. what number is your posters. the circus ihave is 18 and burwell is 82
I picked up a Circus my number is 271/ 415 and My Burwell is 113/350. There are already a few Burwell's on ebay already. I saw two buy it now's. One was $205 and one was $225. Plus another ones up to $66. I was only going to get a Burwell but I got the Circus instead of buying a t-shirt since they never fit me right.
I got into the poster collecting being a Pearl Jam fan for years and I wouldn't sell these for almost anything. Two great memories to have of a classic show on a class night.
Anyone have a picture of the T-Shirt and if possible does anyone want to sell me one?
Fuck, where was that first poster!
I only saw that second one and thought it was lame/not special so I didn't buy it.
Damn it!
Now I'll have to pay tons of money for a poster on ebay...

It was limited to 350, so it didn't last long past the show start.
The merch was in the front by the non-GA entrance. So for people who lined up early for the PIT, they were led directly into the venue, as opposed to being led in by the merch. Fortunately, they opened the merch area earlier so GA people were able to get their posters.
My friends and I waited for the merch table to open just because we knew how limited the posters were. There were only 350 Guy Burwell posters and the artist had said that whatever was made for the show was it. He also signed them as well...Jim signed their other poster. Dont know if more are going to be made for the online stores. Im getting both of mine framed now.
BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!!! ;D

I'm assuming you mean the circus-themed poster since the Burwell was limited to 350. So that poster is signed by Two Tone, or you were able to get it signed by him?
Mine's signed with some initials, but I don't know who the artist is. Anyone know?
I got a 307/350 on the Burwell...just happy to have one! I usually don't like his stuff this much, but I think this one might get framed.
yea the circus one,, its signed by him right on his picture, i like the poster its pretty sweet.
a cool idea for framing posters is to get a picture frame that is put it together yourself (available at most art stores like 15 bucks). just did it for all my pj posters. they look real good.
I waited for 2+ hours to get my posters, and I was the first in line. I was able to get 164/350 for the Burwell, and 23/415 for the circus poster. I don't think that is Two Tones signature, unless he was the artist, because mine has the same signature in the same place. But you never know.

171/350 for Guy Burwell and 109/415 on the other one. Not sure who signed it, but I don't think it was any of the guys. Those are some sweet posters, can't wait to frame them.
What was the price for the two posters at MSG?.
RCMH Burwell was 30 Dollars...

Thanks for the fast answer!
I wish I could have been there, but RCMH was very speciall, too.
(And I think this poster is A LITTLE cooler- but both are great art).
i saw a guy curse out the worker at the merch table and then subsequently get kicked out before the show even began because he didn't get a low enough number on the burwell....it was pretty heated and embarrassing for that guy
Anyone know where I can find a RCMH poster? I was there and thought I could pick one up after. the show. I was definitely wrong! I check on Ebay constantly but I dont ever see one..
Thanks!

pitiful :(
i guess i reallly lucked out cause i got my circus poster after the show 165/415,,, the only reason i thought two tone signed it is cause both names in the signature begin with t's.
I wanted to buy a shirt and a poster but they were all sold out...now they are going for 200 dollars on ebay, i can't afford that! :(
If anyone picked up an extra shirt or poster please let me know!
I got a Poster, but I have a little black sticky gunk on the white border. Anybody know the best way to get this off?

Yikes. Do you have any idea what it is? Have you tried scraping it with a credit card? I'm not sure if that would cause a smear or not, but definitely scrape
away from the image if you do.

gooey stuff might come off better if its cold (like put it outside for 10 minutes on a cold day, or in freezer for a few). Just an idea ... but I don't know what this mystery substance is.

If its MMJ gunk, then it won't come off ;)

I'd say, don't mess with it. Wait until you take it to the framer; they can probably take care of it for you. And if not, maybe you can cover it up with the mat?
Best of luck, Mr. Trash Bag!
I just ordered my frame and mattes for the Burwell poster, had to go with this frame, thought the name was quite appropriate!

looks like sepia tone poster from NYE is up in the store, as is the Chicago poster. Unfortunately the Burwell one is not. I wish they'd put up some NYE shirts.
Plus the Women's New Year's Eve '08 Event T-Shirt.
Thanks for posting! I got the NYE shirt.
all framed up

Nice. Where'd you get it framed? Asking b/c I have nine MMJ posters to frame and I don't want to shell out what I've been spending at a small family-owned shop for some of my other art.
Edit: ah...see you did it yourself!
yep, framed it myself. I generally frame all my posters myself now. In the passed I've used americanframe.com but this time I used pictureframes.com WAY cheaper than taking it to a frame shop. Here's some good info on do-it-yourself framing.

Wow, that looks beautiful Walter. Just to give me an idea, may I ask approx. how much that cost you doing it yourself thru pictureframes.com?

this one was rather pricey because I went all out on it. I think the total with shipping was about $180. But I used rather expensive mattes, the inner matte is a metallic gold to go with the metallic gold inks on the print. And I used all archival/acid free materials and UV protective plexi, and used a pricey frame. I've done many other posters where I didn't use all the good stuff...and it usually goes about $100ish. If I would have taken this to a framer and had them use these high-end supplies it would be closer to $300.
Beautiful! I like the choice of green mat - really brings out the green details in the print.
Any reason why you went with pictureframes.com this time? Just asking because I've always heard good things about americanframe.com

There is indeed a reason! I have a matte sample set from pictureframes.com. It's real hard to match a specific color when you're just looking at the color on a computer monitor, I've learned this the hard way...ordered a few matte/frames only to find out the color was actually way off. I usually stick to all black mattes/frames, so it aint no thing matching colors. We really wanted to match that green color in the text of the bands name, and having the sample set allowed me to find just the right color (and by me I mean my lovely lady). Also, pictureframes had a gold metallic matte, americanframe did not. And thirdly, I've had some real bad customer service with americanframe of late, decided to go a different route and am very pleased.
Oh, wow - that's good to know. Does pictureframes.com send you the mat samples?
QuoteOh, wow - that's good to know. Does pictureframes.com send you the mat samples?
They do indeed. You have to place an order here http://www.pictureframes.com/scripts/WebObjects/PictureFrames.woa/wa/CustomMat but they're all free, even shipping is free. Just order one of each of the sets and they mail it to you. At americanframe you have to buy the sample sets. I don't think the sample sets necessarily have every mat they sale, I know my sample sets do not have the metallic gold mat I used for the inner mat. If you chose picturefames.com use the 'personal frame shop' tab to guide you through the process.
don't know if anyone cares, but mens MSG NYE shirts (Xl and XXL only) are up in the store. Not sure when they went up there, but I had been checking for them for months and was beginning to give up hope.
Now if I could only find an XL shirt from the Fillmore NYE I'd be a happy camper.
